    I live in Australia my Internet speed is * and I can still play my mates back home with no lag. The Xbox live connection is heaps better. Never had an 'error code' never even heard of it. It would * me off not having cross game chat. On MW2 they banned you from being in 'Party Chat' so you couldn't cheat during S&D and it * me the * off. You don't realise how good it is. I don't like the PSN homepage play my mates PS3 a lot and always get him to start the games up. Xbox is much User friendly imo. Probs because I don't play the PS3 as much as the Xbox.

    I wouldn't let a feature like that stop me from getting the PS3 or on the other hand make me buy an Xbox.

    Its all about the games for me and every console has fantastic games (Xbox Wii and PS3).

    I don't know how Sony can recover from this to be honest it will be a interesting couple of weeks.

    I mostly play team based games so it's better to be able to communicate with the team rather than text chat before and after.

    Yeah true all console have fantastic games and are all great in their own ways.

    I hope they make a recovery but how can their customers ever trust them fully again?

    Thats the problem mate. I have lost a lot of faith in Sony. I am really close to trading my PS3 in but I have a * load of games for my Playstation that I would also need to sell.

    Just went down to ask about trading my ps3 for an xbox360 but was told they wont take my model because its the old style :31::31::31:

    go to a cash convertors m8 i had a 60gb before i got a better model an they gave me 120 quid for it and games like black ops will get 20-25 for it in there also if its an xbox tht will get u enough to buy one second hand with a game or 3

    An addition that might make up for the last few weeks would be full backwards compatibility on all PS3 models.

    To be fair to Sony i am * off about them being hacked but there is not really a lot they can do about it if some one wants to hack something in today's world they can much bigger and more secure stuff than Sony has been hacked over the years.


    NASA, US gov...etc get hacked all the time and im sure their security is 10x than PSN

    Cheers mate but not got any here,,but might take it thru to derry theres one there,,dont want to give up on sony had a ps1 ps2 ps3 & psp but the longer this drags on the more annoying it is!!!

    id chase it up and even maybe contact your lawyer see what they say to all this im thinking of trying to get a claim off them sounds silly but why not i gave sony all my personal information and credit card details in confidence and it was their job to stick to their end of the bargain and keep it safe and they * up ye think ill defo be at least talking to my lawyer about it .
