We got the result we came for. They were the home team needing a win. We need a strong forward, who can hold the ball up, Sammaras did a job, but is just not good enough. Commons gives the ball away, that why he did not start. Brown give little on the right hand-side. Game on now.

 

yes but unfortunatly for sammy hes been dire al season apart from 1 game the rest of the team have not

We was poor today we had * all width = * all service both strikers was feeding off * all even at that Hooper was * dire today by far the worse Celtic player on the pitch everything about his game was awful .

Sammy might not have had the best game first half he was missing after half time for me he was our best player on the park held the ball well won it in the air again no support , Unlucky with the a couple of great rans taken out when on goal , rush of blood and strike over the bar being honest any striker would have taken that on .
missed a pen decent pen at that great save really .

Yes, Sammy missed a penalty, but others have done so as well this season...Hooper, Stokes...It happens, was too predictable, but McGregor is a great keeper, what can ya do.

Today outlined the need for a real top drawer centre half though.

Wilson was poor today, just looked like a bag of nerves.

Kayal was poor first half, second half he was vital for us as we came into the game more.

I thought Ki was good, keeps things ticking over when it's all getting a bit too frantic.

Hooper was poor, though he usually is when paired with Samaras.

Every game is a cup final now- cliche ahoy!!

i would have taken a draw, but SAMMY, LET COMMONS HIT IT!!!, it was a missed oppertunity, and i honestly dont think we will win 5 in a row, but im not too sure that they will either, its still well in the balance, helicopter sunday imo

I'll take the draw, in fairenss its what we deserve! in all honestly though, lennon should be ashamed for picking sammy. Okay hes turned up against the huns a couple times but you dont pick someone for an old firm that cant produce against your motherwells,dundee untds etc.

Thats never how we've played the game. those in the team have earned their place and im ashamed at lennon for picking him!

At the end of the day, his times run out- get rid of sammy

 

i know, i bet he was gutted he didn't win his last old firm

so felt like getting a few things off his chest.

 

The best thing is we don't rely on any other teams and have our fate in our own hands.

the bad thing is, apart from Samaras' lousy penalty, our attacks in the last 15-20 mins. So many times one of our forwards was open, but the one with the ball was too greedy.

 

Yeah I'll criticise him on this game and he was poor ,but I know from previous games he's a quality forward that's good enough for Celtic.
Apart from two performances Sammy has been * this season, like he was last year. He's not good enough imo
