He's only scored 2 goals in the league this season (the 2 vs the huns) 6 in total, 3 in the League cup vs ICT and 1 vs Utrecht i think.

He played great in the 2-0 game in Jan, came on in the 2-2 game and played good and had a good game in the 3-0 game vs the huns, but he only seems to turn up when he wants, which is hardly ever.

 

.....and him not turning up tomorrow just cannot be risked.It's way too important tomorrow to gamble on Samaras turning up or not.Hooper and Stokes are both more than capable of hunskelping and if they start I'm sure they will.
If Sammy does start he'd be better upfront alone but I don't think that's best for tomorrow and hopefully Lenny feels likewise.

 

Has to be Stokes and Hooper, I just get a feeling the way that Neil has been positive about Stokes that he is going to get his chance tomorrow.

Praying that he does, and that he takes his chance.

 

Well from that evidence should he not be started? He only seems to turn up against the huns.

 

But that's the thing though, you don't know when he is going to turn up, so if you were Lenny you would be thinking "should I risk Sammy or play my two top scorers who have 37 goals between them"

I know what I would choose.

 

Didnt turn up in the League Cup. In fact his games against the Huns have been progressively worse. Based on that evidence, current evidence,he shouldnt start.

Our mid is very important tomorrow, if we dont run the middle of the park our strikers wont get any service regardless of who is playing there mate.

I've never wanted to beat them more. Can't think of a bigger Old Firm game in recent year. This decides it for me. Win and the league is ours. Lose and its theirs. Draw and its still in our hands. Nothing would make me happier than to see Lennon walking over to the fans at the end of the game tomorrow as a winner after all the * he's been through recently.

I think he may go with Hooper n Stokes with Sammy playing out on the wing!midfield of brown, Ki (or maybe a wee surprise"lundberg"!!) commons, defence of Dan,Mulgrew,Izzy, wilson. Could be a wee surprise but i'll wait and see. All i know is if broon is giving the team talk in the huddle I dont think anything needs to be said but "this is for the gaffer" cmon lets get intae them! Hail Hail

I agree, leave Sammy OUT! hes simply not good enough! his pace in no way makes up for his lack of linking up with the rest of the team. I'd pick Forster in goal only because hes been regularly playing but c'mon...anyone else think the guys bomb scare at times?! i think Zaluska has promise, hope he gets a regular game when forster goes back.
