    It's obvious the kind of players who are likely to be sold, young ones and * ones like Murphy etc.

    Just notched his 8th assist of the season, joint 2nd with Maloney only behind Stokes. Played the two best passes of the match.

    Our midfield has perfect balance and Brown is vital to this.

    First old firm game we played with two wingers and were caught out, with Brown on the right Commons has more freedom and he can slot in to make a solid midfield 3.

    broony is a player who i think we would miss if he left.i think hes a cracking player and doesnt get enough credit. every good team has a player like him in there side and i mean a player in the centre whos quite nasty.

    im meaning nasty as not scared to go through someone now an then basicly a right hardy you know what. his agressive side of his game is the last thing it take out his game

    Tonight we had to fight for the points on that pitch and he was unlucky not to score. A lot of players had to battle tonight and I don't think he done much wrong

    no definitely not. Him and wilson are excellent for us on the right hand side of the pitch and have been a key factor in us doing well this season. He is steadily growing into his role on the right of the midfield 4 and showed that with his performance tonight. Keep it up broonie!

    There's nothing more the Rangers fans would like to see. He's been the difference between the clubs. If he played for them, I hate him.

    no selling him would be a big mistake we need to offload a few midfielders at the end of the season and brown wouldnt be one of them.. rather see juarez and ki go instead of brown

    Spot on mate. I'd give Brown a 5 year contract soon as. He and Izaguirre have been our best players this season.

    Excellent posts... I wasn't aware there was only a year left on his contract. I'd do it... I really would. I think Joe Ledley has been our best player all season... quiet, unassuming... THAT'S how good he is. It's essential he's there, but he rarely gets the credit he deserves. I think that's how you build the midfield around.

    By the way... to some... you don't REST on your laurels... great teams need time to develop, yes... but, if you can get something substantial for someone who's probably at his peak, or near it... do it! Re-invest... cycle.

    Do you remember that rumour a few years ago when he set to leave for, what was it, Sunderland or whatever, for £8-9 million? That didn't sit well w/ me then... it would now.
