25 years of terror is the best book for information on the Provos bombing campaign in England over 25 years and some of the roles the Irish community in England played.

Just finished reading "Making sense of the Troubles".

As a complete outsider to the Troubles, it was a very informative read. Would totally recommend it as it's given me a greater understanding of the troubles, obviously only to an extent.

eamon collins book "killing rage" ,martin dillons "the shankill butchers" & toby harndens "bandit country" are the three best books ive read on the recent conflict, also theres a book dealing with every death in the "troubles" called "lost lives" its encyclopedia size very informative but expensive enough,,was over £30 when i bought it in about 1999 but you will be reading it for years & going back to it time & time again!!

The best book to read on the hunger strikes is Blanketmen written by a Richard O Rawe who was on hungerstriker himself at the same time as the 10. Great book and reading about the conditions of the cells and the maggots etc that were infested in all the cells is heartbreaking and makes you admire them even more.

If you wanna go further back, the best two republican books i've read by far are:
1.Dan Breen - My fight for Irish freedom
2.Tom Barry - Guerilla days in Ireland

    Both fantastic reads
