I watched Brown today, and i can honestly say, this guy brings nothing to the team, he has not improved one bit, since his arrival,
stops picks up the ball turns around and then passes it back the way,
never likely to link up play with anyone, and when he receives a pass in attack stops turns around and passes it back thats his whole game no nothing,:54:

I think he's been great this season, he's alot better on the righthand side than the middle. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't still be in the scottish cup.

alot of big performances from him such as the 2-2, 3-0 and 1-0 victories over ranges, he's had a big part to play in them

I thought he played well tonight. Done well defensively and passing was pretty tidy. My only criticism would be that he never got enough decent deliveries into the box for a right-midfielder.

His first touch is really poor I think, but that being said he does bring something to the team and he is good defensively.

he's been one of our best players this season.
clearly you're just not a fan, never will be - no matter how well he plays you'll just not see it.

Scott Brown brings nothing to the team? Hmmm.....I think Neil Lennon would tell you different.

There is some stat or other that I read on here, I forget it now, where Celtic have not been beaten in a League match that Scott Brown has started for ages(pre-Motherwell). There seems to be plenty of people who want to bash Broony at every opportunity but I like him.

His passing may not be the best and he won't give you 10 goals in a season but he definitely does add something to the team. In my opinion he gets way more stick than he deserves.

tbh, he doesnt add much on the right, he doesnt cross well(or at all), not good shooter, * dribbler, hes not suited to a wide berth, its a tough one, he's extremely hit and miss, im not a brown basher but sometimes i just think," how is this guy a footballer?", other times i think he's good, but im not sure hes improved

I'm not his biggest fan but for me there has been a marked improvement in his game over the last few months, i never thought i'd say it but i feel we are weaker without him in the team.

yes but i know talent when i see it, you are a fan, but in my eyes he reminds me more of a dodgem car bumps into more players than he beats with the ball and passes the ball back he gets players like Issy and Wilson out of position when he passes the ball back the way as every time any of the 2 players mentioned use brown they have ran the line only to look back at the ball being played back the way that is not good enough and when he * up with short pass backs Issy and Wilson get hammered trying to race back in to defend that brown dose not do although he is nearer the back than those two guys, if you think i am wrong you watch his play, i have no other reason than to say, for the betterment of the team this is the case

Of course he has improved, this season he has looked like he deserves to be Celtic captain. He was off form tonight, everyone has off days, it's just a shame that Brown is like Samaras and "demands" a thread questioning his place in the team every time he has a bad game.

You must be pretty blinkered against him to say he doesn't race back to defend though.

I have said ever since he came to Celtic that he was an imposter.
The question :- "has brown improved"
Sorry for answering a question by a question, improved from what?
He has had ONE real good game in my opinion, in fact I thought he was MOTM in the 2-2 Rangers game, but he has been virtually useless since then.

we should not be in that position at all, he should learn go with the wing backs forward fast, why are you happy to see the wing backs knock there melt in, running the line, and then have to race back like Maddie's to defend, all for the sake of a, over rated midfielder, all teams if you haven't noticed, lob the ball over brown by pass him, Issy and Wilson are up the park leaving 2 on 2 in attack and some times 3 if you haven't noticed that well thats the way we are getting shafted

I've often been a vocal detractor of Brown's in past seasons, but what I think has made a vast improveent to his game has been being played on the right.

His best spells under WGS were on the right & it's no coincidence that his moving to accomodate Ledley & Kayal in the CM has not only improved his positional sense, making him much less like a headless chook. He now has a more defined & disciplined role, which has also had the added bonus of improving his leadership by example.
