    he represents a number of isreali players and I remember that he was lennons guest at the 3-0 old firm game and publically said that lennon was trying to bring a few more of his clients to glasgow

    Think everyone should stop jumping to conclusions. At the moment Kayal is a Celtic player and a great one at that. He's said he is very happy here and I think everyone should stop slating him at least until something official comes out.

    Some of the comments in this thread are horrible. "if he wants tae go, * him". WHAT? Our best player of the season. He doesn't say or do anything wrong. And yet you're saying "* HIM", because you read there's a slight chance his agent might talking to Neil Lennon for a reason you don't know...

    Itay Shechter is not represented by him as far as I know btw.

    But still he might talk about him there, since right now he's looking at options with clubs in Germany and Italy talking to him intensively.. and you guys were very high on Itay and wanted him in the summer.. I mean he would still get % if the deal went through probebly, and Celtic has the best reputation out of the clubs he's connected to right now - only thing working against them is they play in the SPL.. but I bet if you win the league and would still be interested in him he will come 100%

    Hopefully for me and you, he will come.. cause he's really a cracking player who'll crush the SPL imo, and he plays in my most hated team - so we both win :D

    He creates antegonizem around him cause he dives etc, but for the fans in his team they'll love him more then any other player.. really funny guy with a great personality, and above everything great talent.

    Kayal has every right to look at his performances and speak to Celtic about renegotiating his terms. All this "if he wants to leave * him" is stupidity. Trust me , with that attitude, you aint going to be happy with many players in the side. The days of loyalty like Larssons have gone.

    If he is good enough and playing well enough then we need to look after our players. Kayal is one, Izzy is another, and Hoops for that matter. Another point is, if we dont want to sell them, we wont. The board would need to accept an offer, and it would have to be a good one.

    To be honest I would rather see us spending money keeping players like these rather than wasting money on new contracts for the likes of Samaras who has been hanging around like a bad smell for the best part of 3 seasons.

    Heres a comment that will perturb some even possibly most.
    Kayal has I believe been linked with Man United maybe others south of the border.
    Well Hibs had a guy in midfield that went to Man United Miller, he didnae make it, I will tell you right now Kayal will not make it in the EPL if he was to ever go!
    In Kayal against Hibs I saw a hard working get stuck right in player, that is not that great at ball control, does not look like a goal fest guy in anyway, bumps into the opposition, turns around very regular not really going anywhere to any great degree, is no smooth defense splitting passer of a ball, and often holds onto the ball when a quick pass CAN be made.
    My point is he is an above average SPL player, but hells bells, the SPL is a third rate fitba league.

    Hopefully there is nothing sinister in this meeting as I would very much like Beram Kayal to stay at Celtic for a good while yet. Since the turn of the year he has been the main man in our midfield and the man that is making our team tick. It would be a real disappointment to see him leave in the summer.

    do people really think Celtic, in full knowledge that the press are there given Celtic have clearly gave them permission to film, would allow contract negotiations or whatever to take place on the training pitch in front of the camera's. This has been set up deliberately by Celtic - clearly Celtic wanted this to be filmed for whatever reason and they'd hardly do that if they were discussing selling Kayal.
