because he has been with us for 5 years and has only now made any contribution, He is too inconsistant and injury prone and until he shows otherwise he is just a fill in. If Hinkel decided to stay with us I would take him over anyone else on the team

you are underestimating him hugely, Cha is a Right Wing back, he is better is a better RM than Scott brown and he will be immense if we play 5 at the back in europe next season

not as far-fetched as some will believe.

I know these Arab sides have shown sometimes they can attract players as they've money to burn. Can't see him leaving this soon though

Juarez played right side of a midfield three at the world cup.

I'd be tempted to keep Cha for another season tbh, doubt he's on big wages and we won't get a decent fee given his age. Would give Matthews time to settle in and keep Ki happy at the same time.

His defending is fine... ive yet seen a winger get better of him... his pace saved us on multiple occasions and yet people slag for * defending? Just because he can overlap better than any RB in Britain doesnt mean he is a * defender. And ive not seen a goal scored against us because of his so called "* defending" (mind you, i think his defending is just as good as Hinkel but you dont see anyone slagging Hinkel for that). But ive seen plenty of goals scored by us because of his pace and teamwork. Im sure no one can doubt he is the fastest player in the squad by far. I can see him doing wonders for us in europe next year, he has tones of experience and he is officially the best RB in asia. With 2 solid center backs i can see him burning any team with his pace.

his defending is pish poor he has pace but only actually uses it going forward. he gets ripped apart and beat for pace defending. how on earth that figures out I don't know.
we'll get nae money for him though, maybe 500k at the most so he's decent back up for wilson. shame hinkel wont be with us next season

We have Matthews coming in and Wilson is having a great season. But I like Cha, and that goal against St Johnstone could prove to be the most important of the season. So I think he deserves a bit of respect.

Utter pish, cha get ripped apart? did u actually watch the games he played in? he nearly always killed any winger that dared to beat him, not to mention he is rock solid in terms of body.

There is no player in the SPL capable of getting anywhere near him in a foot race, which he has proved on several occasions already.

You can slate his positioning, his tackling and probably a number of other things but pace - crazy.

can't see i've seen him get done for pace, but, it is possiblt to be quick, but get done for pace- if the player he's up against is incredibly tricky, or just knocks it past him- he may not have the best reactions.

    I'd keep Cha over Hinkel.
P.S. Cha is very quick so you can't slate him for that. He's not bad, plus him and Ki are mates so it's good to keep foreign internationals together. Happy happy clappy.

Ive made the mistake of selling Cha in FM and from my experience I know Lenny wont want the same problems :56:.

Seriously though I dont think we should sell him cracker player, more suited to playing further up the park though

As some have said put cha as a wing back or even as a right mid and the opposition full back would not go forward because they would be so scared about cha's pace. I think some people underestimate what he brings to the team and while positionally can be caught out well, full back is one of the most glaring and obvious positions where players get caught out on due to tucking in or staying out wide.

Its not an easy job being a full back and its why there arent many top class full backs around these days because you need a lot of attributes to be really good. Cha is good not brilliant but he certainly does a good job there going forward and provides just something no one else in the celtic team can and thats just blistering pace which scares defenders shitless its the one thing along with trickery defenders cannot deal with.
