We don't need to worry about that, Lennon was born to play in the old firm games.

Dont be so * naive conor of course he didnt "just pick Mcgeady" there was obviously something said between the two of them that Lennon didnt like or took offence at and he had a wee go at Aiden for it.
The operative word here being "wee".
My two yr old daughter gives my staffy a harder time than lennon gave mcgeady so lets all just forget about it and not go on about it cos thats exactly what the currant buns would want us to do. A bit of in fighting would suit them down to the ground so lets not give them the satisfaction eh?:50:

    Lennon

You are being a wee bit harsh on Lennon. He is at the end of his career and that obviously means he is not at his peak but still he has been a fine servant to the club. He is a strong character and I don't remember him bottling much in his years with the club. And you have to ask why Lennon was a first pick for O'Neill. Did O'Neill have so much success despite Lennon ? Or was Lennon one of the reasons we had success. Never a spectacular player but his contribution throughout his time has been very good.

I am just in I saw the game will comment later need to go out, but I can assure you that is NOT how a captain should conduct himself in front of all watching, and thats not just Scotland, hope this is Lennons last season! Please :87:

I think Neil Lennon was the 1 player who inspired the team to come back frm 2 nil down from hibs.....he showed fight and passion, and according to sno an inspirational speech at half time. people need to get off his back, i personally like his aggresive side.

the fellas in the studio pinpointed the mcgeady lennon spat perfectly to me, lenny was angry at aiden for not doubleing up wit mark wilson which could have stopped the cross coming in therfore losing a pretty meaningless goal in the process but i can understand were lenny is coming from because how many goals in europe and other games have we lost in the last minute and cost us a lot, its the principle of not switching of in any game until the whistle blows

    was petrov but now McManus
at the end of the day he shouldnt be squaring up to a 19 year old when hes like 45, he should show much better conduct being captain. i cant remember steven gerrard fighting with his players or barry ferguson likewise. Hes supposed to show the young players how to conduct themselves but its always the young guys that have to pull him away from trouble.

I wasn't talking about playing ability, I was talking about his commitment and leadership. No doubt that Keane was a better player.

Lennon is an easy target for some fans who forget that without him we wouldn't have had a lot of the success we've enjoyed for the last 6 years.

He does a more than 'decent' job for us, so just for once can everyone show him the * respect that he deserves and has earned.

Thought that was a good controlled performance against a very defensive setup. All performed well although the opposition was poor. Artur, Wilson, Naylor, O'Day, Lenny, Aidan, Naka, Kenny and Magic all did well. The fact Bobo looked OK (apart from his dire passing) shows how poor the opposition were though. JJ still not concincing. He played ok in 2nd half-nice touches but he is too slow and lazy and I doubt he can play there against good opposition. Thought O'Day did really well and if Cuthbert is better than him as many say then maybe we do not have to go mad spending on too many new defenders.

dont get me wrong i like Lennon.neat and tidy on the ball etc..think he had a great game at old trafford /ibrox last year(1-0) for example..kept it simple when others around him were too edgy around him. His Ego sometimes dosent justify his talent imo..i firmly believe if he wasnt there last season we would have seen more from petrov and keane as a partnership..always believed lambert was far better player also so who knows mate??..hope he kicks barryhun into touch again next saturday:50:

Keane's hamstring meant he couldn't play anywhere for most of the 6 months he was here.
