He would have to play regularly between now and the end of the season to earn an offer. Can't see how he gets into the team to do so.

He hasn't shown anything to merit a new contract. I know he has been injured a lot but even Kapo had done more the short time he was here

Havent seen him so I cant say whether he should get the contract or not. If he plays his part in the final 12 games then i dont see why not.

If he accepts a pay as you play agreement then id sign him. The reality is he is loaded he has a chance to break into a team of Celtic's stature he should be happy to do this if he has confidence in his own ability to get into the team. If not thanks but no thanks.

Not getting a first team start, and no place is needed for him to fill in, dont want him on a new contract more wages for him to sit on the bench is unacceptable, mind you we have samaras on 3 years this probably happen

Has Ljungberg even played 15 minutes since he was signed? I don't think so.. He's taking up a huge wage bill for someone who barely makes it on the bench

If he wants to take a massive drop in salary then he can stay. But he will have to be a squad player.

Would have loved to seen him do well for Celtic. In his glory days at Arsenal, he was immense. If he can step up to the plate or doesn't mind taking a wage cut - wouldn't see why not.

Everyone is saying whats the point, but he has been injured, not really his fault. If he can get a little spell in the run in... then we will decide.

£20,000 a week for one game a half season? I think not. He could sign a new contract, but if he is willing to have a reasonable wage.

    Really doubt he's on £20,000 p/w.

    Excellent attitude.

Who knows, he might come in and provide the spark we need. Put it this way if he is capable of producing even half of what he was at Arsenal he would be an excellent player to have at your disposal.

If he denied another signing in the summer then I would so no way to an extension but like everyone else it would depend on what he does between now and the end of the season. For me he hasn't shown much when he has been on the pitch and hasn't looked like someone trying to impress. Might being a bit unfair butnhe has to show somethingnin training to get a first team start and that has obviously not been happening when he has been fit.
