I'm not saying he is or isn't but he seems to get loads of good reviews in Norway and he's aparently the next big thing but he hasn't looked that great this season. Do you think this is the man we should be building our defence around or is there better players out there that we should be going for?

He had a rocky game in the Cup Final but I think he has been pretty good for the most part.

I remember he played against Rangers last season and I was really impressed.

He has a lot of work to do, but I wouldn't be dumping him just yet.

Undecided. He had a bad day against Rangers, but was instrumental in the game at Castle Greyskull. I'm hoping there is more to come from Rogne.

i would not say underrated. he is very very young (especially for a defender) so he does not have the consistency (which should come with experience), but overall i think he can turn out to be a really good cb for us.

Had a poor game on Sunday but has also had some good games, his lack of pace is a bit worrying I think some people over hype him while others under rate him overall he's decent and still learning definitely one to keep a hold of for the time being.

oh dear. the hyperbole has been rolled out again, we must have lost a game then. Rogne is very young, how can you say he will never be good enough? Mind you, if we had Messi when he was 18/19, you'd probably want him punted because he's too lightweight.

Ledley was by far our best player on Sunday. He is an international footballer and was courted by AS Roma in the summer. He has been one of our most consistent players and dragged us into next round of FA cup.

Mulgrew was being lauded as a great cb a few weeks ago. Dodgy game against Well and losing OF final and suddenly he's *.

Samaras has played in a World Cup and recieved a lot of praise for his performance in SA. He has came up big for Celtic in a lot of important games. He won us the 2-0 game in Jan. But then again Saturday morning league players have done all this more eh?

Given time we'll find out if he is the real.. Maybe he's capable of consistenly playing well in a settled defence.. I think at his age and with the lack of experience he still has (31 career total appearances going by wiki) he needs to be put into the team slowly but surely.. If I was to compare him progress-wise with other defenders his own age then Danny Wilson would be classed as being better but if Rogne had spent a full season playing next to Davie Weir then maybe he'd be even better still..
Next season should see him come on furthur but these high pressure must win fixtures that we have between now and the end of the season , might mean he'll sit out more than he plays..

Main worry is that he's been a bit of a free-kick magnet and has been getting turned easily.. Don't have any worries about him in the air though except his occasional tendancy to go through the back of a player to win the header..

I think he's been very good for us, putting the cup game aside as he wasn't 100% and didn't look himself at all. He's got massive potential and it's not just the fans that are noticing it, Lennon obviously rates him highly and so do Norway.

Rogne is solid at the back and will prove he's capable of playing in the first-team as soon as he's fit again, I firmly believe that. The boy has a great future ahead of him in my opinion.

This is what concerns me Danni. Seems to be quite slow and he needs to improve his tackling. I lost count of how many needless fouls he gave away on sunday in dangerous areas because he was climbing on the back of the striker.

nah, he's a young kid with potential who had a very bad game on Sunday, couldnt handle Jelavic at all though i didnt help that the Croat dived everytime he was near rogne; but rogne will learn from it, he's generally been pretty decent this year and i think he has a big future with us

    give the lad time

yes. think there some celtic fans overrating him a little slightly. he's been good up until now, and apart from sunday where a just thought he was shocking. he looked realy nervous. but i'll put that down to him returning from injury. hope he can get back to form.

very surprisingly, loovens didn't look to bad when he came on

Still a young player with plent to learn. One match does not make you a bad player. It would help if he had Maj or someone experienced alongside him.

The boy is just back from injury, the team as a whole didnt play well. Rogne is a good player with the potential to become top drawer.

He has the potential to be a class defender for the hoops, he had a shocker against the shame but he's not had a sustained run in the side due to injuries. He needs more games and experience!! He came up against a decent international striker and it was obvious he needed experience along side him, he'll learn.

Give the lad a chance, he'll definitely come good, there's no doubt in my mind!!

Didn't have a good game on Sunday although neither did majority of our team. He's been good mostly every other game he's played and I think playing next to big Maj helped because of his experience and presence. The Mulgrew/Rogne pairing is an inexperienced one remember... we can't expect flawless or even great performances every game.

    I'd keep him he's definitely got a future :50:

I think he's been brilliant from what I have seen of him. He is just back from injury and the team as a whole were very poor on Sunday. He is still only 20 and has a lot to learn given time I think he will be excellent!
