Boruc to leave Celtic in summer?

According to the biggest polish sport newspaper "Przeglad Sportowy" it's very possible that Artur Boruc will leave Celtic next summer. He recieved offers from Arsenal and Manchester United so far...

Arsenal have been watching him since he came to celtic £6 million bid in the summer.

 

aye, i remember... he even had an offer from them but he said "no".

 

If that is true mate we will all be gutted.
Lets hope its all speculation and us winning the Champions League will be enough to keep him at Celtic Park. He is the best keeper we've had for ages and a key player in our team.

 

It's utter bullshite, we've got him tied up in a good contract, and unless Lawell has suddenly become the biggest idiot on the planet we won't let him go.

 

I think that it can be true ... but u can also read i polish newspapers that if he will move to Arsenal/ManU/Chelsea Celtic will buy Lukasz Fabianski (Legia Warsaw) - for me he is almost as good as Boruc and he is only 21

 

in all fairness when any of our players is even linked with likes of manu /arsenal means they must be doin something right..lets hope tommy g. and magic are linked with em too at end of season at the very least we should get big money plus Marshall waz the next best thing at one stage can only get better sayin all that hope he stays!

 

couple of weeks ago they were reporting that we will buy the likes of Blaszczykowski, Baszczynski, Choto, Sobolewski etc. Its all bullshit and i dont even read it, coz they are writing, because they simply dont have idea why people arent buying this *.

 

Can't see it happening. Man Ure already have Kuzczak (cannae spell it ) and Arsenal are more likely to bid for Craig Gordon.

Boruc is a good keeper, but is he better than Craig Gordon, or even Shay Given.

I've heard he could be on his way from Newcastle.

 

I hope our cult hero will be at celtic forever! just in case he shall leave, please not to a dirty club like arsenal or chelsea.

 

you may be right but ffs we can't call lie every news they've written especially when it's about Boruc who without doubt is in the top 10 (maybe even 5) goalkeepers in europe.

 

Don't rate gordon at all. he is far weaker than boruc. shay given on the other hand is one of the top 3 world keepers!

 

Gordon is a fantastic keeper at a young age. He could be playing at the highest level for another 10-15 years. I will be amazed if he's not snapped up by a top club in the summer.

 

Asrenal and United can get to *, board better not let him go, for any amount of money. When does his contract run till? He is a priceless player for us

Craig Gordon is not good enough to replace Artur or ever play for Celtic. I would not be heppy atol if he lost Artur and got CG in as a replacment

 

Given is a great keeper but here come's a time when you need height in goals
Gordon has failed to "really" impress on the big stage and imo has to take the blame for quiet a few celtic goals over the past seasons

imo Boruc is the best keeper in Britain, he's a big time player

You're just biased. Boruc is not the best in Britain, and never worth 10m.

Gordon has not had the chances to impress on the big stage with the jam farts.

 

I beg to differ...

Boruc has played out of his skin in every big game he has played and his leadership skills are excellent there's no way Celtic would sell him for a single figure sum with 3 years on his contact lefted

 

Personally I think Boruc looks so happy at Celtic and can't see him leaving anytime soon.

On the other debate, I also think Gordon is better than Boruc and no-one that plays in the SPL is worth £10million. All players have to prove they can do well week in and out on a bigger stage before they're worth that and playing in the SPL isn't gonna do that for you.

 

You have to see boruc proved his worth at the world cup and champions league. many teams got are interested and willing to pay much, unlike for gordon, nobody outside from britain knows him.

 

Can't believe people think Gordon is better than Boruc

Boruc concentration levels are better
handling is better,
command of his box he is better
communication levels are better
bravery is better and more importantly

He loves the BIG games and has a big ego
