    My da had Charlie and the Bhoys booked on Friday in his boozer The Lovat Arms Yoker but has now to cancel on police advice:47:
    After the last old firm there was a bit of a hoohaah outside the pub. They are now holding it against him
    The cops have asked about ticket sales etc. The pub has a capacity of 120 they are insisting it gets split 60 in lounge 60 in the bar forcing my da to call it off. Saying if there is more than 60 in the bar they will shut it.They were also giving him * for sectarianism and republicanism. Please sign the petition so we can submit it to the police

    Let them tell me we're a republican band and they can show me the law against it. Out of all the bands we're about the lightest, more a Celtic and Irish history than provo music.
    This again is all down to that * Follow Follow forum. They are getting together and bombarding the licensing board with emails, every person on it is send dozens of emails under different names to make it look like a big protest.
    What you need to do is get the name of the actual person who made the decision and ask him to explain his/her reasons. They also tried this with the Barrowland about our concert, they were unsuccessful there as they were in East Kilbride.
    We've found over the years when you come face to face with these people they back down, they can't risk been made look sectarian. I can try get this in the papers if you want.
