Pub near Hampden on cup final day.

Going to get a couple of mates up to the stadium and try and tout a ticket on Sunday but incase I can't get one whats the best pub near by that will be serving and showing the game where I wont run into the manky mob??

p.s. where is my best bet to try and tout a ticket, where do the buses come in?

 

mate i was at the Semi final and in all honesty, me and my dad must have searched for a good half hour for a pub near Hampden and found * all! maybe there is and me and my dad are just retards though

 

The Montford at the bottom of Montford Avenue and The Beechwood behind the shops facing the entrance to the Celtic end/main stand on Aitkihead Road.

 

Try McNeill's on Torrisdale Street, just off Victoria Road.

 

There'sa couple of pubs across from langside college on battlefield rd. They're only about a 10-15 min walk to the stadium.

 

I know all the pubs on vicky road but there a fair stoat away fae hampden + I would have to walk right through the manky mob to get there :[

 

The international on aitkenhead rd ul need to be early as it fills quick i could get near it on the semi had to settle for a bottle of tonic from the off sales a few doors down

 

the granary along at shawlands is always good but you would have to run to get there for kick off if you were at hampden up till kick off

even rutherglen if you jump a taxi would get there no time at all. You have the vogue, chapmans, millcroft celtic pubs and theres the picture house half and half

 

Go to the Beechwood. It's right next to the stadium at the Celtic end and there was a brilliant atmosphere in there the time I went.

 

Beechwood. I went there for the semi and the place was bouncing, huddle going on around the bar.

 

is the beechwood not usually a rangers pub???

 

I'm not sure but it won't be a Rangers pub on Sunday. It's located right behind the Celtic end so I'd imagine it will be hoaching with Tims.

 

no beachwood is a tim pub mate get in early to avoid ques. after a while bouncers operate 1 in 1 out.
