If this is true it mite be because they think they will have to accsept a big money big for izzy.

Would look like a back up to me, hasn't really been a starter for Bilboa for the last few seasons.

i find it funny that we are building a strong, young team and the last 2 players that ive seen we are going for (Him and Riggott) have been 30+

It's another daft rumour. Sport's Journalist sees link. Puts 2+2 together and makes 5.

Apart from anything else, this guy is too small at 5 6' to be a competent left back.

Cant see him as a first choice LB even if we sold Izzy.

I can't say anything about this lad as I never seen him. I would like to see cover added at left back. I don't think this lad, or any other lb for that matter, signing means we will sell Izzy. Remember Naylor? Looked like an England Left Back for the 1st season then fell away. While I don't think that that Naylor is anywhere near Izzy's class, it would stop Izzy resting on his laurels next year, plus if he was injured I would worry about pushing Charlie back in at left back.

can only think that he would become back-up. if Izaguirre gets injured we don't have a lot of options left. Mulgrew didn't really impress there at the beginning of the season. so much so that we played Ledley there.

would be a welcomed addition imo. still want a goalkeeper, centre back and striker and away with the dead wood.

In a young team you need experience to help nurture talent. He could be a good addition as back up and a role model for our younger stars.

disagree. it depends on their strengths and others in the team. Others may do the work in the air while this player does good with the ball etc..

Depends on the individual. Though, i see your thought in having height at the back.

30 year old !!! we will be in the same situation when we have to replace him a couple of years later. Keep him for another year at least so he can get a taste of european football and european nights.

The fans have made coming to the spl the main draw and i am sure he wont want to leave if we can pick up the treble and have major ambitions in europe next season which we will have if we keep our big stars.

Think it comes down to whether we have the money from europe next season and whether we have to sell our best players like we did with mcgeady last season.

Just the rags trying to unsettle the flow. Izzy is going nowhere.
