That's a good few months he has had to play, and the general consensus is he is not good enough in Europe. The chances he had tonight, Henrik would have stuck them away easily, and changed the game. Kenny's teamwork can't be questioned, but for Europe he's not a goal predator. I accept that he scored good goals against Benfica and Rangers, but against the so called "diddy" teams he has done nothing in terms of bagging goals, which is what he is paid to do. We've had to rely on the midfield to get us out if sticky situations. Then you look at Henrik, who scored barrow-loads against SPL teams week in, week out. Even Hartson did the same.

I realise it's not a crisis, and we are through, but we need an out and out goalscorer, and Magic is doing nothing, nor is the injury prone Vennegoor of Hesselink.

Aye but for a club to move forward, we need someone who at least regularly scores goals. I know Henrik is incomparable. I like Kenny, but he's not hitting the target enough.

Kenny Miller will try is very best, and the celtic support has come to love that about him.

But lets be honest here, for the Champions League, we need a finisher.

For him to miss those chances tonight, and the one on ones against hibs. Its disgraceful.

His header tonight reminded me of the one against Ukraine. Time to replace him and Magic

A striker needs to take his chances though.

Its a sad day when a striker goes through one on one and you know there is more chance of him missing it.

Miller is no more than a fringe player, and i hope GS is aiming to find a new striker in either january or the summer.

I completely agree. Don't forget that he scored three important goals to get us through to the last 16.

If you read the original post mate, you'll see I'm not slagging him. I like him and his team effort. He doesn't score enough goals for a striker though. You can't deny that.

i guess he doesnt score as much as the top strikers but he is never in the position that he is the only one on the team relyed on to get the goals. he is playing with other forwards and the modfield is pushing up. the goals he scores are always some at important times and thats why i think he is great.

As I said the minute the idiot join us, he'll work, he'll work hard but like Pearson, IT AINT * GOOD ENOUGH!!! He has limited skill and class. Being able to work hard for the team is the more basic requirement of a pro football and when some people see it from Miller and Pearson they confuse it with class and skill.

I said when he joined, I said he cant finish his dinner, and how many times have I been proven right so far this season. I'll be proven more right by the end of this season.

He's not good enough and average SPL performances where he gets one decent goal in 5 of the best chances doesnt cut it.

Miller was really hitting form and the goals before injury and circumstances broke up his run. He seems to have lost confidence again but until a few weeks ago he was really looking good and finishing. I would wait and see of he hits scoring form again in the next two weeks before getting on his back. I do, however, reckon that a Celtic strker that plays most games should have at least 20 a season. We will see in May.

im IRISH so i dont see any scotland games i dont get the whole kenny Miller thing??? why is held in such high regard in scotland..i believe strachan signed him on one game v.italy..miller seems 2 be the type of player who will impress on any 1 viewing(workrate)..yet thats till u see he couldnt score in a brothel after half dozen games...for example everytime beattie plays he makes scoring chances out of nothing even if he doesnt score..miller never even gets much chances ....i really wanna like him(bigheart) yet he just aint good enough..how is beattie in his recovery by the way:97:
