If Lenny Was to Leave......?

If Neil Lennon is forced to leave Celtic because of death threats from neanderthal hun * then I refuse to take any further part or have any further interest in Scottish Football. Why should I waste my life giving my love to a team that plays in an environment where we can't have a manager because he's a Catholic from Northern Ireland?

It's a * disgrace that this thread even has to exist.

If Neil Lennon is forced to leave then Celtic should quit Scottish Football. That's the only way I feel I could carry on being a Celtic supporter and that's harder for me to say than you can believe.

 

I voted stay and get new manager because if we withdraw, where are we going to go?

 

it would be truly disgusting if anyone has to quit their job because of fears over the safety of their family. never mind going to uefa or fifa about it, the police should be taking a firm stance on this.

i dont think lennon will walk, if anyone can put up with abuse then its that man.

 

The sooner these * who are sending these threats are brought to justice and sentinced for their crimes the better, at least this would show that this will not be tolerated. At the moment I wonder if investigations to catch these people are going on , they need to catch these scumbags and throw the book at them,it's the only way it will stop.

 

I haven't got any (sensible) answers as too where we would go if we resigned from the SPL. The one thing I am sure of is that R*****s can not exist without us, whereas I believe we can happily live without them. Maybe it would be worth leaving just to see their House of Cards come tumbling down!

 

Exactly.People need to get a grip.It is not in your hands...there is no referendum of Celtic fans as to what we do or where we go.We cannot just go anywhere we like..even if invited.The SFA have very powerful friends and would go out of their way to prevent any move.Also...if by chance we do * up and Rangers steal the league and we go out early in Europe again in the summer....WE will be the ones wanting rid of Lennon.We need rational calm thinking and keep supporting the team and manager without knee-* reactions to everything that goes against us.The poll is ridiculous and does not merit a vote in it other than to satisfy curiosity.
Also...do you have any idea the pressure this kind of talk actually has on Lennon?Give the guy a break...he needs real support.....which means not putting any undue troubles on his back.What if he secretly wants to go somewhere else after winning the treble, as he feels he cant improve the team and wants to try the EPL?Give him a break.This is not support....this is emotional blackmail.

 

I would leave scottish football behind in an instant if lennon was forced to quit. I wouldn't mind us being without a league for 1 or 2 seasons. We could do what the old santos team did or what the harlem globe trotters do. We would certainly make more money. I would not be adverse to joining the conference in England either

 

It maybe that Lennon may have to be the martyr here and step down for something to really change.

I'd hate to see it happen but if it was the boot this country needed to step out of the dark ages, maybe it would be for the best.

unsure because they say no one is bigger than the club so you dont want the small minority of idiots thinking they have won the battle on the other hand why should a man fear for himself and his family IMO this comes from northern ireland they hate to see a catholic from N.Ireland suceed with what they see as a catholic team seen the N.Ireland sqaud on ssn in it two rangers players and two celtic players there two lafferty ,healy would nt get a game for the dog and duck our two mcginn mcCourt good squad players this sticks in the throat of loyalists that our two offer more than there two no doubt the people in N.Ireland who dont base everything on which church you go to would like to see the national team prosper i fear this will never happen hopefully the people can unite and say does nt matter where our players come from as long as they win, dont hold your breath CTID
