I said a week or so ago that the media would , at some point, turn its attention from Celtic and the "Old Firm" ( I * hate that term now) and the "shocking" so called behaviour of our manager.

Now, though, that story is going cold and the media cockroaches are turning to the issue that they should have been addressing in the first place.

The death threats to our manager.

The bullets and bombs in the post to our manager.

The internet defamation, slander and threats to our manager.

Although I dont buy these papers, I read at work, there was an editorial on catching these cowards who bully by keyboard. I hope that this is followed through. Knowing this papers history I am sure they would have no hesitation in naming and shaming this scum.

Also reported on BBC Scotland last night along the same lines.

Its a shame that this type of journalism is so predictable, but if it helps to create a little justice and takes the pressure of our manager then good.

Apologies if this has already been posted.

Although it has changed you still cannot get them too fully back Neil Lennon. For example last night on Radio Scotland , there was in general an all round condemnation of the treatment of Neil Lennon in regards to the treatment he gets.

Although Jim Traynor did condem the treatment he is also part of the "but brigade", their is many others with similar views. This is in reference to Neil Lennon`s behaviour ie reacting to provocation or arguing with officials, now show me a manager that doesn`t argue with officials or fellow managers in Football ( Wenger, Ferguson, Mancini, Mourinho, Mark Hughes, David Moyes have all been recently involved either type of the above mentioned).

The whole opinion of Neil Lennon snarling attitude was manifested in the media and portrayed when they wish it too. Take yesterdays paper and a certain hack (Keith Jacksons) back page headline was "Lawell admits Lennon was wrong", despite all the other stories available from "The Summit" this was carried as back page headline.

Which picture has been seen the most?

One has been plastered all over every paper possible the other has been lost to the world.

The media play a dangerous game. In effect they control the news.

Not surprised it's now shifted focus as this was always the intention.

SO, the huns ASSISTANT manager causes a row with THE Celtic manager resulting in them both recieving bans.

Maybe next game Alan Thompson should get him and smith a ban. !

If you get ma drift, was it ORCHESTRATED, ?

The media will never give Celtic fair press. Putting McBride on their case will keep their bile under control.

i think if lennon had been a first time offender then he would have the same if not less games banned than mccoist.

Have you missed the original 6 game ban handed out for the first offence of Neil Lennon.

How can the system be fair. Surely every case should be judged on its own merits. The present system dictates that the longer you have been a manager the longer the ban coz the chances are youll have been pulled in front of these clowns more often.

Interesting piece in the Record today actually saying that a criminal and mass murderer would be treated better than Lenny has. Couldn't be further from the truth.

I don't think there can be much doubt that it was orchestrated. The way McCoist whispers in Lennons ear then stands back in order to allow him to go mental in full view of the cameras.

McCoist, and Smith as well most likely, knew that the result would be a minimum ban for Ally as it's his first offence, meanwhile Lennon would get the book thrown at him because of his history with the SFA. Those sewer rats will take advantage of every opportunity to hammer our manager, and McCoist simply provided them with the excuse.
