Player of the season so far?

I know it's still only March but here would be my top 3 choices

3) Wilson, probably one of the most transformed players I have seen in a Celtic shirt, I had almost forgot about him completely with his horrible bad luck with injuries, came into the team and never looked back. He has consistently put in great performances for Celtic and his final ball for a full back is very impressive, really whips in a great cross. He gives 110% for the Celtic cause, never stops grafting and deserves a special mention come the end of the season should he retain this very impressive form.

2) Izzy, What can be said about this quite special Honduran left back that we haven't already covered? Best full back I have seen in a Celtic shirt, has the full package, pace, strength, composure and delivery. He actually never stop's bombing down that left flank offering overlapping runs everytime we put an attack together and then has the pace and determination to get himself back in position when the attack breaks down.

1) Hooper, Has been something of a star since arriving from Scunthrope, the clinical front man is quite simply a goal predator and his goal to game's ratio is something amazing! You know when Hooper is on the pitch we always have a natual goalscorer capable of nicking us a vital goal, has already scored so many crucial goals over the course of the season and clearly likes to score against the huns :icon_mrgreen:

Izzy. Hard to give to Kayal or Hopper as they have missed a number of matches.
Cannot justify giving it to Wilson just because he has improved. Also he was not a regular starter for nearly half the season.

 

Izaguirre , Kayal , Hooper.

 

normally i would go with this 3 with izzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyyy winnin it however here are some more contenders..................

blackman- gone quiet now right enough

hayes and rooney- add them together and there is a good player ther!

* james beattie- was an absolute machine for a while managed a respectable 4 shots for rangers, more than their whole squad in the last 2 games

* fleck- 'rooney' why is he so good?

* laugh-at-ye- absolute different class, his car choice is amazing and his reverse parking is admirable!

Izzy or hooper for me. Kayal wilson and commons have been also nothing short of amazing since january.

Me also unless something drastic happens.. He's been a virtual ever present and provided some great moments of the season.. Loved seeing him hugging the green man when he got his goal..

I think the expression used for players like Izzy is "he could open a tin of beans with that left foot"..

I think it will be Izaguirre, especially the one players vote for. I dont think SPL players have been ripped apart as much by a player since Larsson was still here.

 

I would say (1st) kayal and 2nd choice izzy.
I chose kayal as he's probs the only player that when he's not in the team we struggle, that shows the importance of the Bhoy wonder. He's * awesome every time I see him. His dig and will to win gives me tingles when watching him in action.
