    Commons is getting more chances than a Maloney or McGeady because we are playing with 3 midfielders now in the middle of the park. Something I've been asking the managers to do for some time now.

    McCourt's scored a similar amount also without having too many starts.

    He scored something like 13 goals for derby this season and the goals for us so far i am very sure this could be a goal scoring midfielder that could get 20+ , if he does he will be a major success at celtic not that he has not being already haha

    il admit i was not overally warmed to his signing it never made me feel that way i get inside when celtic get a player but * he has made my heart go inside and turning into a favourite .

    cant agree more gents what a capture even more the sweeter that the manky mob never managed ( or could afford ) to get him.

    however whats the views on paddy not getting a game any more i though he was coming right into a game as well this season?

    His record speaks for itself. 5 in 8 is great and 2 of those against Rangers. Not bad. He also adds a lot to the team in terms of his touch and he is not afraid to track back or put in a tackle.

    At this rate it could be more, 1 more goal & he's scored 20 this season, 6 for Celtic & 14 for Derby & for a Midfielder thats some going, Our own Frank Lampard (scoring wise not talent wise), It will be exciting next year in Europe if we are playing the 1 up top & have Maloney & Commons playing off the striker, the link up work & interchange play those 2 will have will be mind blowing, just hope Maloney doesn't get injuried & end up out for half a season again, so frustrating when he gets injuried, but isn't he due back before the season is out? Maybe get a wee glimpse of what both are like in the same side before the end of the season which would be good :50:

    What a top quality signing he's been :icon_mrgreen: so glad we got him, when I heard about his wages before he came I wasn't sure whether he would be worth it or not, but he's certainly proving that he is. Hope he keeps up the good work!
