BBC Sport - Football - Scottish FA cuts Neil Lennon's ban to four games

According to this report, Neil will be sitting in the stands for the league games, at CP, Vs Hamilton & Hibs. The Scottish Cup QF against Caley and the Cup Final Vs them!

Thoughts on the effect this could potentially have.

Also can anyone confirm if Lenny will be allowed into the dressing room at half time...

For me, I still feel that 4 games is excessive for a first offence and that a 3 game ban would have been fair, however this is the hfa and once again they have done their bit to assist the monkey cause by ensuring Neil is absent from the dugout for the cup final

    I hate the hfa!

    Only one Neil Lennon

    Hail Hail

Will make the bragging rights sweeter when we beat them even without Lenny on the touchline!

Pity we didnt have a wee spare midweek and we could have tried to get a game moved forward and use his four game ban so he could have been on the bench for the cup final.

Could be a worse run of games. The league games are two of the easier ones.

with modern technology its not such a big deal anymore......his fone bill will be expensive though.
dont want to give them ideas but the only real punishment is to keep offenders away from the ground on match days....and even then he could watch it live on the tv and still be on the fone for the entire 90 mins.

To be honest the stand at Caley is tiny, he will still be able to manage from their

no problem with this tbh! if they had gave him the 4 match ban that most said would be fair in the 1st place? then none of this rubbish would have happend.

Alan Thompson will just have to fight Ally then, Lennon can knock out Walter in the stand.

I don't think it makes as much difference as some would suggest.

The tactics and personnel are all set out prior to the game and any changes can be easily relayed to the bench via a phone. In fact it can give him a better vantage point to see what needs changed if anything.

Sort of knew this was coming - just read though that because of his we spat with fat Ally he'll get another 4 match ban, so won't return to the dugout until the first game of the split.

To answer part of the origional post, the "Ban" menas that Lennon cannot be in the dug-out or the dressing room....so no half-time thunder talk from Lenny...

he'll still be in the dugout at hampden, just not allowed at pitchside.

not a worry at all imo.
