i can understand your opinion and respect it mate but personally i love his heart on the sleeve attitude. sometimes though i accept he takes it a bit far or allows himself to be wound up too much but on the whole i idolise his passion

Feckin *!It seems the only person who can get close to Lennons' cult status is Hammer.

'We love you Hammer, Ur great, Ur posts make me moist'. Crawlers!

Oh by the way, I agree with your post! Great read!

have u seen a handsome hun
for those who say lenny wont ever leave. he will but only when it suits him......how long is he expected to put up with the threats etc......believe me it'll only take one idiot to lay a finger nail on a family memeber and neil would be off.....and who could blame him. i cant believe that posting death threats on facebook or twitter isnt deemed a crime. these * need to be brought to order.

What he's done is transformed our attitude in the last year or so. This I don't mind, in fact it's great and being seen on the pitch. However, he can shout n scream n gee up the players as much as wants within the confines of his dressing room and when on the touchline. But to go toe to toe with any manager in front of the cameras the way he did, I'm a bit gutted.

He'll now be a target for even more abuse from an even wider variety of fans and people will simply try and make him snap and I fear that his temper could become a liability. A manager sitting in the stands is no use to me.

You don't have to look too far back to find a point in time where he went way over the top. Just look at when he grabbed McGeady by the throat. OK, it was probably needed and he's a passionate guy, but wait until you're away from the spotlight and in the dressing room before you air your views.

I don't claim to be the only person thinking this way, I just think Celtic fans general perception of Lennon has massively shifted and he is now showing how intelligent he is and not only in terms of the nuance's of a game of football.

He still has his flaws but the one thing that overshadows all of those flaws is his relentless pursuit of beating Rangers.

Agree Hammer mate, I spent a very enjoyable evening in his company a few years ago now, you could tell that he was extremely knowledgeable about the game and has a genuine passion for football in general and Celtic in particular.

Although he's admitted to his mental issues in the past the mental strength he's shown this season is nothing short of remarkable.

There's only one Neil Lennon, one Neil Lennon.

Given our last managers reluctance to challenge those who clobbered our players and lack of visible passion, I have to say that I back Lenny 100% and he was in the right. The tubby cheeky chappie was at it and if you're going to challenge someone to a fight then be prepared for a reaction. What did that yum yum munching wee * actually do? He hid behind the rest of his coaching team after instigating the whole thing. It's akin to a ned only playing at being a hard man when he's got all his wee pals to back him up.
I appreciate that Lenny should have risen above it but after hearing the words 'we should just take it on the chin and move on' ad nauseum for two thirds of last season, I would prefer to have a man at the helm who will not remain silent; I want our manager to challenge those who assault our players and let them know that their card is well and truly marked.
The reason the currants despise Lenny is because they fear him and what he could achieve. They know they're in the mire and through Lenny's challenging the high frequency of honest mistakes, they know the rest of the world is looking at our league and watching with interest.
He has been astute in the transfer market, intelligent with the media and willing to challenge the inherent corruption that blights the Scottish game. If fat Sally wants to have a go then bring it on tubby!!!

If McCoist tries that again I hope Lenny just Broonies him.
