been to old trafford for celtic games and been abused by their scummy fans and the same at anfield!

only other fans and team ive felt an affinity with is barca and they can show liverpool and man u how football really should be played!

 

Man United and Liverpool? Don't make me laugh. They'd be nowhere without all of their millions. At least we've managed to get some success in Europe without splashing out loads of money.

in the kop before every game the fans who follow rangers shout rangers and the ones who follow celtic respond with celtic its been like that for years my cousins and brothers go every week and i have heard it on cds they do it as a way of uniting all the catholics and protestants together as 1 kop for liverpool

 

massive link through hillsborough your right there celtic were first club on the phone offering support and also played the charity match for it lot of liverpool fans have massive fondness of celtic because of our kind ways the people slagging us off i can imagine will be younger ignorant fans who dont know their history!

Like Liverpool, hate man united. I've followed Liverpool since I was about 9. I don't look at Liverpool forums though so I don't know what they're saying. Don't really care either. Every club has it's idiots.

 

does the man utd link not come from initially them winning the european cup the year after us? then you had alot of bhoys going down there to play for them
i remember going to testimonials at old trafford and fans would be wearing shirts that were half celtic half utd cut down the middle! the love in with them stopped when we had to face them in a competitive fixture

as for liverpool, i've also been on the kop when it takes turns in shouting celtic and then rangers so can only be the hillsborough memorial match we played against them at CP

im from durham and i have noticed quite alot of sunderland fans follow celtic, and its the other way round at newcastle alot of them lot follow the darkside.

Honest to *. The links are fickle, we all have teams we like or not, the only team I support is Celtic, but I have a liking for....Queen of the South, Dundee, Dundee Utd, Aberdeen, Forfar, Barcelona, Ajax, Newcastle, Norwhich, AC Milan and Spartak Moscow.

I can bet that there are loads of fans on here who have an issue with one or more of those teams, and if I made a similar list of teams I hate (other than the obvious one) then there'd be a bunch like 'I quite like Man City!'.

 

My point above being it'll be the same at every team.

There will be a small amount of Manure/Pool fans who like us, an equally small percent who hate us and a large percent who do not give a *.

 

I support Celtic and Scotland. Now I don't have a problem with anyone following another team, even an English team, but a quick look at an English clubs forum and the way they talk about us is an absolute joke. It certainly puts me off immediately and I like nothing better than to see them pumped in Europe.

 

I didnt use to mind them doing well in Europe until i realised the level of debts they had...and Barca and Real.It is disgusting.Queen of the south could win the CL if they went half a billion into debt.
I liked Liverpool because of Dalglish....but i dont think there is really any true link with any of the English teams.They do not have a religious divide the way we do....i think.Maybe once.

 

I was actually on that forum and their were 5 times as many people supporting Celtic, you obiouvsly went through th 6 or 7 pages they have on the game a selectivley qouted

I like Liverpool but think the Club is more close to Man Utd as from the 60's to now theres been about 15-20 testimonials between the clubs and another about 30 friendlies. Plus players like Delaney, Crerand, Macari, McClair who we sold to them, theres also been a lot of tims who've played for Man Utd especially recently like Keane, O'Shea, Fletcher, Neville, Rooney and their Kitman is a tim too there seems to hardly be a year that we dont play them too from 2000 to now we must have played them about 15 times. Bobby Charlton their best ever player probably also played for us, I think it was Ron Yeats testimonial against Liverpool.

Also I think Man Utd fans hate the huns more, think it was the 70s the huns played a friendly down there which got postponed because of riots, was the reason they arent allowed to play friendlies there any more. Plus their Manchester shenannigans caused them not to get a strreet party for the Champions League final.

But Everton seem the most Tim friendly English club at Jinky and Tommy Burns 'shrines' outside Celtic Park there was by far more Everton tops there than any other kind.
