    Great video. Especially the interview at the start when he got the managers job. He was unlucky at that time as he was up against a Rangers side that were overspending. I reckon his team would have wiped the floor with some of the more recent Rangers sides. He brought back the belief we could win the title again though as was shown by the new CP being packed every league game.

    Some fine posts gents - true heroes. The Maestro was my second hero, a player that really should have gone to England and proved that he was the best midfielder in the country but he chose to stay with us through some very bleak times. People at the time raved about Gary McAllister in England but he wasn't fit to lace the boots of McStay.

    Charlie Nicholas for me. Funnily I always remember listening to the games on the radio when I was wee and I remember listening when Charlie scored his first goal for Celtic.

    My brother said: "That's him made a name for himself"
    I was so young I said: "What do you mean - he already has a name"

    So although since then I have many more 'favourite' heroes, Charlie was my first.

    (I think this was around 1980 from memory so I was 6!)
