Had A dream we lost 2-1. Rangers were down to 9 and we were down to 10 men. Brutal. I say dream...more a nightmare!!

my team as hard as it is to pick would be.

    Zaluska

    Juarez Maj Rogne Izzy

    Brown Kayal Ki Commons

    Ljungberg
    Sammy

I haven't dropped Mulgrew because of the 'well game but because for the best part of this season it's been Maj and Rogne together giving us a solid back line and would like that back for this game and if anything I wouldn't mind dropping Maj for Mulgrew as Mulgrew and Rogne both seem good in air.

Ljunberg would start for me as I feel his natural positioning and vision and believe that in this type of game he may well be more effective through the middle then Mccourt who may just try one trick to many rather then pass.

It's a hard team to pick as Sammy in particular has done well when called upon in these games so it's hard not to pick him but I really wouldn't mind seeing Hooper and Stokes together and the team looking like this:

    Zaluska

    Juarez Maj Rogne Izzy

    Commons Brown Kayal Mulgrew

    Hooper Stokes

it's just to difficult to pick a celtic team as they have been doing so well of late but if i were see any of line ups i'd be confident we will win.

quick question though were Rangers meant to have a few missing for this game with bans etc.. other then Naibrain?

Mate I think Lunberg would disappear in this game- not enough game time!!!! Stokes won't do it- it has got to be Sammy!!!!!!

Lots of good debate on the line up and its going to be a real dilemma for Lenny, but it should show how much he's come along. My pick would be:

    :shamrock:Zaluska:shamrock:

    :shamrock:Wilson Maj Mulgrew Izzy:shamrock:

    :shamrock:Forrest Brown Kayal Commons:shamrock:

    :shamrock:Hopper Stokes:shamrock:

    Subs:
Samaras - On for Stokes 60 Min
Ki - On for Forrest (Shift Brown to RM) 55 Min
    McCourt
    Rogne
    Cervi

Zaluska - Would rather have Forster but can't be helped
Defence - Have been solid apart from 1 game that no one shined in on a dire pitch. Jaurez in for Wilson if not fit
Midfield - Get Brown going in the middle with the bite of Kayal, Commons has been fantastic
Attack - Best partnership we have who work well together

Hail Hail and thats 4-1 to the Bhoys (Hopper x2, Commons, Brown)

I also had a dream about this game a couple of nights back. Didn't have a score to it but the Celtic fans were chanting "Have you had enough , have you had enough" as the huns were streaming out the exits..

Hey all, I am thinking no matter what team goes out, after Sunday, they will all be up for it, But would like to see Hooper & Stokes start

Where is best to park for the game, I am in the Jock Stein Lower.

    Cheers

zaluska for Forster ? neither is good enough for Celtic, if you mould the good points of both of them into one we would have a great keeper. Both however have outrageous weaknesses and it is the only worry I have for tomorrow night,(assuming Wilson will make it)

    ............Zaluska.......
    Wilson..Maj..Mulgrew..Izzy
    .........Broony..Kayal.........
    ..Sammy.............Commons
    ........Stokes..Hooper...........
    :shamrock:

Wouldn't have Rogne playing, simply because Mulgrew's been on good form recently (bar Sunday) but i have faith in him to do well. Ledley will be a big loss in midfield and after Ki's preformance on Sunday i wasn't impressed in the slightest. Didn't have any fight and didn't look as if he wanted to wear the jersey.

Don't have the upmost confidence in Zaluska tbh and i think the huns will test him with some long range shots, i just pray that he dosen't do anything stupid. The 2nd coming of the Holy Goalie :50:

I think Celtic should target Weir from the very first minute of the game, putting all the pressure on their back line. Just give the ball to Hooper, we all know what he's capable of. If we win this game it's huge for us. I think it will have an effect on the title race IF we win, rangers's confidence will be in tatters.

I would love to see 50,000+ fans doing the huddle and making Paradise bounce again, :50:Hail Hail :shamrock:

The downside to Wednesday PM kick offs is that the work day drags on sooo much. Gonna hang myself before 5pm

Might be too simplistic to say that our fullbacks getting forward are key.. It was noticeably absent against Motherwell but in many games this season we've gotten goals from balls played in from out wide when we've got beyond a defence for Hooper and Stokes running into the box to batter home , also in the two recent games against the hun , balls being pinged across the penalty box from Ledley and Izzy have led to goals for Commons and Hooper..
Think it's vital the team give the same kind of service because playing our way straight through a defence is much harder and can't rely on a first touch such as Hooper's in the last game , or a sublime striker from Brown on the edge of the box happening again , but pleased we have people like Commons and others having the confidence to hit them from 20 yards..

that's too offensive mate! you've got 3 strikers in your team (hooper, stokes, and sammy); one attacking midfielder (commons) and only 2 midfielders that can protect the back 4 (brown and kayal).

we played in a similar way in the of back in october (which we lost 1-3), i believe that lenny has taken a lesson from that match and will not be playing with so many attack minded players....

Changed my mind from my previous formation, would now have:

    Zaluska
    Wilson Danny Rogne Izzzy
    Brown Ki-Sung Kayal Mulgrew
    Commons
    Hoooper

not really.. we started with maloney who went off for Juarez in 15 minutes.. I felt we were fairly tight.. We lost that game due to an O.G that could have been cleared by anyone who has reactions , a dodgy penalty decision , and a ball played back into the box from naismith to miller that should have been called off-side immediately..
that combination of slack play and ref errors cost us the game.. On another day we may have held on for 1-0 so I wouldn't blame the formation or tactics..

We then put paddy on for stokes who'd spent as much time in our half as in the huns during the 70 minutes he played and Sammy spent a lot of time chasing players back down at our own corner flag also..
If anything the blunder was restricting the attacking players rather than allowing them to play their own game , rather than us being too open..

    Cervi
    Mulgrew
    Forrest
    McCourt
    Stokes

I think the players should be right up for this so 4-1 Hooper (2) Commons and Kayal, their goal will be a penalty :icon_mrgreen::shamrock:

imo opinion we lost that game because our midfielder did not offer enough protection to our back 4.

i believe that lenny feels the same and hence he has not played with 3 strikers from that game on.
