A totally inept and insipid performance today from the whole team. The game started badly with Mulgrew's schoolboy defending and never really picked up from there.

If anyone was in any doubt as to how important Beram Kayal is to our team then they shouldn't be now. Kayal is the lynchpin in our midfield.

Haven't watched the game, got it recorded and was going to watch it after work. Should I bother with it?

I honestly think that Forster was as much as anyone to blame for the 1st goal. he was slow to come and when he did it was half hearted, Mulgrew could have been more decisive but he obviusly thought that the keeper would be collecting it.

A typical hun performance from McCall today, when he set is team out to take turns at kicking us off the park, how that imitation of a football player Forbes stayed on the pitch is unbelievable.
How long can Motherwell get away with a playing surface like yesterday ? why do pitch inspections only apply to rain or snow conditions when a bog can be ignored . All that apart we were * poor yesterday, we can only hope we have learned from it and it will be a reminder of the job ahead that has to be done.

reality check for Mulgrew. i wouldn't hold my breath that he'll be our starting centre back when there are others available next season. i know he has been good the last couple of weeks in that position, but come on, he isn't a centre back. he's a versatile back-up.

the penalty was a penalty. no doubt about it in my mind. we couldn't string two passes together. that was either due to Motherwell stopping us play, the pitch (if you can call it that) and us not being at the races. i'm of the opinion it was a combination of all three.

just poor all round. couldn't pick one notable performance. huge gap between strikers and midfield, no bite or someone to take hold of the game in midfield and the defence was just pure leaky.

credit where credit is due. well done Motherwell. hope we can pick ourselves up for Wednesday. i'm 100% we'll play better than that on Wednesday. we couldn't get any worst. only positive is that Kayal is back and that we got a kick up the backside.

I would like to revamp 'fritz a grand ol team' as its a bit old and cheesey, needs some fat beats
Bad day.. I kind of knew we would have a bad day at some point and after the initial mistake I couldn't see us winning.. Motherwell worked really hard to win every ball and stop us playing any kind of fluent passing game.. onwards and upwards Celtic

    Hail Hail

It was just one of those days. You win some, you lose some.

I hope that Lenny lets the players know how much they let themselves, the coaching staff and the fans down yesterday and that they push on from here, look forward to Wednesday's game and keep the Treble dream alive. :50:
