Just a question do Honduran's wear 'Big Mexican Style Hats'- ? So maybe a Sombrero day to respect Izzy towards the end of the season?

has to be Izzy for me i mean the Bhoy doesnt stop bombing up and down tht left hand side all day and the rangers game was a great example of him doing so getting an assist while he was at it, he puts his all in every game and deserves player of the year for tht reason :D HAIL HAIL

Izaguirre has been the most consistent for me, he's been outstanding. Never gets as much recognition obviously because he's in a defensive position but he gets my vote!

Emilio, Kayal & Hooper have been the standouts for me.

I would vote Kayal, but for the fact that he's missed so many games with injury. Player of the Year has to be for long-term consistent excellence, so I'll plump for Emilio.

But if Beram stays injury-free or the next three months, I suspect he may be my choice come May.

Must admit I felt a wee twinge of sadness to see no-one had voted for James Forrest.

The way he started the season, it looked like he might be one of the main contenders.

I'm really, really, really hoping that injuries are not going to be an ongoing concern for him.
He could be outstanding for us.

Yeah your very right, such a shame for him as he was playing so well and now that he's had another injury and we have brought in another midfielder it might be harder for him to regain his place. I hope he does though and I really hope he's not going to be another Shaun Maloney when it comes to injuries, not their fault obviously but it's not good for the team.

how do Murphy, Brown, Mulgrew, Ledley, mcginn and big dan have any votes, They have been good, not murphy, but they are no where near POTY good they havn't been consistent enough, Izzy, Hooper, Kayal and Ki have been our best performers Forster and Stokes would be behind them

I have plumped for Kayal - Izzy has been the most exciting and consistent, an unbelievable signing and consigning thread upon thread of lamentable left-back displays to the great server in the sky alone should really merit a vote, but Kayal's drive and determination in the heart of the team has just pipped it for me.

The fact that he has contributed immensely to improving Scott Brown's continuing good form and giving us that balance which we have been lacking for years is also a factor.

It's great we are all giving this so much thought because of the performances and personalities of the players involved, allied with results on the pitch, it's a massive boost considering teams of the past few seasons.

Already looking forward to the end of season polls.
