The Fans & Atmosphere.

Things like Sunday are what make me proud to be a Celtic Supporter. The preformance from the team was obviously amazing but what i seen from the t.v and highlights of the crowd just blew me away completely.

Haven't seen Paradise bounce so much in a number of years..even when we did get 3 in a row! The recent away atmosphere's have been amazing and every Celtic player and fan seems to have got the 'thunder' back. Ive heard some people say (who were at sunday's game)

''An old man told me to sit down most of the game...he was the one bouncing about doing the huddle in the last 20 minutes''

''An elderly guy was walking about with the aid of two walking sticks, he was doing the huddle...that's how good sunday was''

''The stadium was litreally shaking at times''

One June 10th 2010 Neil Lennon said ''"I want to bring the thunder back to this stadium - I want to make it rock again," said the 38-year-old.'' In all honesty...i laughed at this. Celtic Park had sadly died a death week in week out during Mowbary's reign. It hurt so much to see empty seats. I do feel bad for Tony but the thunder was never going to be there. On Sunday i wasn't at the game but knew full well when i seen 50,000 fans doing the huddle and belting out ''I Just Cant Get Enough'' that the buzz is well and truly back.

I came across some quotes from sunday that i was delighted to see.

Joe Ledley via Twitter ''Gotta say best atmosphere ever! Thank you. Great fans your are 12 man...'' and ''Loving the huddle and just can't get enough!!''

Beram Kayal "On Sunday night I lay in bed and thought; 'wow, that was so unbelievable.The atmosphere at the game was just fantastic''

Fraser Forster ''I remember standing at Ibrox in the last league game in January with 10,000 Celtic fans behind me singing 'I just can't get enough'.

Normally it's the guys on the pitch who get the crowd going with the famous huddle.

This time an entire stadium showed their appreciation by rocking the place to its core with their own version of Celtic's pre-match ritual.

Well, everyone apart from the shell-shocked Rangers fans.

It was one of those moments you simply had to see to believe.

Three up on their own patch, from nowhere the Celtic fans wrapped their arms around each other, turned around and went bonkers.

Off the field his fans were engulfed in one giant huddle, on it his team were giving Rangers a hounding.''

This is what makes me proud to be a Celtic fan. Whata feeling ehh. Long may the thunder continue.....
Just can't get enough? With three more of these to go before the end of the season, it's no wonder.

cant stop watching back over the videos i wish sky had scanned th ehole stadium for the huddle i was in the main stand and the north stand was literally moving (singling it out because it was so big and looked unbelievable)

 

Ive been going to glasgow ever since i was a kid, think it was 5 i started getting brought over but ive never seen anything like i seen when we were all doing the huddle on sun. I loved every minute of it. Had a cracking view of teh pitch , i was in the north stand upper and loved the view of the huddle.

Its also the quietest ive ever heard them * as well, lol

My hun mate came in today and admitted that he has never seen an atmosphere like it! He said it pained him but that the celtic fans were immense and he was jealous of how good our support was. Fairly honest assessment for a hun haha! Still though * amazing,.

great great post aldo i felt 10 feet tall walking out of paradise on sunday was proud of lenny proud of the players but most of all i was proud of us we are back love that story from the sun "shellshocked" the huns were * brilliant to shut that mob up

 

I break out in a big cheesy grin every time I think about it.

 

So exited about wed, gonna be 1st hun game in about 5 or 6 years. what a night this is gonna be

 

so buzzing for the next game hope the atmosphere is like that again so proud to be a celtic supporter

The Celtic support is second to none when everyone is involved, I imagine an atmosphere like that has only been created in very few stadiums around the world this year, it was seriously that good on Sunday. Every stand doing the huddle and just can't get enough was amazing.

This has been the best part of Lennon taking over, he really has brought the fans back together and there's a team on the park that we can all connect with. I hope the atmosphere at home continues whether we win, lose or draw and regardless of who we are up against.

 

The jock stein stand was rocking to :icon_mrgreen: and the huddle was immense
