    Went for Stokes cos he is a better and more consistent goalscorer but when Sammy is on his game, he is a much better player than Stokes is

    Samaras for bigger games is a must and Stokes against the lesser teams..Infact whoever Hooper wants up beside him...

    Keep em both......Celtic fc=big club .

    Reckon we got room for a few quality strikers. But if I gotta pick, its sammi. Love stoke but sammi can be magical. It's up to our staff to use him right and I trust that they will.

    Why do people not think Stokes is good enough to play big games? He's scored as many against Rangers as Sammy in a much shorter time in Scotland.

    We have 3 good strikers in Sammy, The Hoopster & Stokes, so there's harm in rotating them, based on the game plan or opposition !!!

    has samme ever had a decent run in the team playing with hooper?

    i dont recall him having one. i think he should be given a chance.

    sammy has also een played on the wing a lot as well. i think playing with hooper could see him getting a good few goals.

    having said that the hooper stokes partnership works its a dilemma

    Never been given a chance against the huns , played wide right against them once and 10 mins the other day. And if anyone thinks that he wouldn't be able to do it against them look at his goal last year

    The top goal scorer and top assists should not be left out of the team for a player who has failed to deliver on a number of occasions

    Stokes is much more likely to score than Sammy,though Sammy is a very,very usefull player to have,his performances in the OF's this season being a perfect example.
    Still though,Stokes!!!

    Both have a part to play in this Celtic team. Its certainly game dependent so I have no problems with whomever Lenny picks as long as Hooper is one of them.

    Don't really bother who lenny plays nowadays as it feels he will get it right, and whoever does play will not let the team/fans down.

    it depends who were playing im glad that we still have both of them and hooper but since sammy does it in the big games id go for him i still think stokes is great striker to have and this is a good complaint to have

    Stokes scores more, but Sammy is the more talented player.

    I can see Sammy getting the nod in most old firm and european games, he plays better against the better teams because they don't sit in as much as low end spl clubs and he has a little bit of space to work with.
