    i think its time to get rid of that stupid number 88 off Hoopers back. probably cant do it now but at least do it at the end of this season. i think the lad deserves the number 7 or at least a number that doesnt look like a reserve players. Stokes has the number 10 so i say give Hooper the number 7. what do you think?

    good shout....no complaints here......but the 88 does give hoops a bit of uniqueness.

    I think 88 is a cracking number, the year the club was formed and hooper's year of birth. Taking number 7 would just put more pressure on him.

    Why? He could make his number legendary, i think he should keep it. Its different and will forever follow his career now on in if he does become a legend a Celtic which he will. If he was to change though I would rather he got the number 9 than 7 to be honest.

    i reckon its his date of birth, he obviously chose it himself and its also pretty cool... saying that i also don't think it really matters as long as hes playing well. OO ARR GARY HOOPER!!
