    According to McKay anyways...
Heard he's going off to join Keano for 1ml a great deal for us.
Was never the most talented player we had but always gave 100% which is about all you can ask.We have had players come thru the door who didn't give a * about the club,Pearo always gave his all.

He lived the dream Hail Hail

He was fantastic for us when he first came but hasn't developed into the player I thought he would. Good luck to him though, always gave his all.

If he goes I wish him all the best, he always gave his all. Sometimes players come to our club and dont realise that we want 110% effort. Pearo is a trier and can turn it in sometimes. £1m is a fair fee.

Well done to Pearo, had some great moments as a great sub. But he needs to move on, good luck Pearo.

    Rams won't bid for Pearson

Billy Davies insists he is no longer interested in bringing Stephen Pearson to Derby County.

Pearson will reluctantly be allowed to leave Celtic in January after failing to cement a spot in Gordon Strachan's starting line-up.

Derby had tried to sign the midfielder in the summer and have been strongly linked with a renewed bid when the transfer window reopens.

But Rams boss Davies admits he will not be reviving his interest, following the capture of David Jones from Manchester United.

"I tried to get Pearson before we got David Jones in on an emergency loan and I'm hoping something can be done to make that permanent," Davies told the Derby Evening Telegraph.

"We will have to revisit the David Jones situation in January.

"But as far as I am concerned we move on from Stephen Pearson, he is not a target."

Davies has also been linked with bids for Crewe midfielder David Vaughan and Cork striker Roy O'Donovan, but has questioned how he will fund any notable signings.

He added: "I cannot stop clubs or agents trying to sell their players and now is the time for agents to get themselves attention.

"What I would like to know, though, is where I am getting all this money from, because according to some people I have already spent a couple of million pounds.

"It was frustrating not to bring in the players I wanted before the loan deadline last week, but we do still have our targets for the January window."

    Willie McKay -

"Cardiff are one of a few clubs who have shown a strong interest in Stephen," McKay told the South Wales Echo.

"Stephen will definitely be leaving Celtic when the transfer window opens as he needs regular first team football.

"Cardiff made an enquiry last summer and they also came along to watch Stephen play in a Scottish B international match recently, so it shows they have retained their interest.

"Cardiff are a sleeping giant and without doubt Stephen would be interested in a move to a strong side riding high at the top of the Championship."

The Bluebirds are also turning their attentions to mainland Europe in the search for new faces, and have handed Carlstad United starlet Johan Bertilsson a one-week trial.

The 18-year-old forward is keen to impress Dave Jones during his trial period at Ninian Park.

"Everything is very good here," Bertilsson told Expressen. "If you get the chance it is hard to refuse."
