was not impressed by the appointment of lenny in the first place, i seen it as the board going for the cheap option and thought he was naive by not bringing in an experienceD coaching staff but going for his pals instead....but i'm the first to admit i was completely wrong and lennon is the man!

get this man on a 3 year deal regardless of how the season finishes...ONE NEIL LENNON! :icon_mrgreen:

Even if we don't win the league, it would be absolutely criminal to not give him a long term contract.

This man, his coaches and the players he has brought in are the future of Celtic FC.

I think he should be given a new contract wheather we win the league or not. We need a bit of stability in the team and by gettting rid of him will only set us back again, this is where football is going down hill im my view to much chopping and changing from managers to players.

It's amazing how quick football fans change their minds on players and managers. My view on Lenny is the same as it was when we appointed him. We've given a great bloke and player a chance to see if he can be a great manager (the two do not always go hand in hand). The season has had highs and lows with Lenny and the team failing in the key European games early in the season as well as a couple of dissapointments in the league. Lately Lenny and the team are looking like they can come good, time will tell. At this crucial time in the season we shouldn't be talking contracts just concentrating on the job!
Whilst Lenny is learning his trade on the job i've no doubts he's fully commited to delivery the league and happy to talk contract at the end of the season. Hopefully he'll have 3 trophies on his CV then :icon_mrgreen:

I would give him a new contract but no way would he get a 3 year deal. He should be put on a 12 months rolling contract. If it was good enough for Strachan and O'Neill then it should be more than good enough for Lenny

this reminds me of when lennon was first appointed and the board were saying that they went with who the fans wanted as manager but now it seems they're saying the opposite....

If we win the league you will say it's all down to Neil Lennon and the players and you will give the board no credit.

If we don't win the league you will be on here bumping your gums about how it's all the board's fault.

Either way the board can't win.
