i dont get why ppl are saying put sammy on from the start im nt saying he hasnt done anything to merit a place from last OF perfromances but we have a strike partnership which has gave us 25+ goals this season who have proven they can score why change this sammy came on last oldfirm and changed the game for us im not saying he didnt but i think we should stick with hooper n stokes cant take hooper off because he is a goal treat and his movement on and off the ball in the last few games have been superb and stokes is banging them in for fun i think sammy deserves a pot but only as a sub we should be taking the game to the scum nd showing them that the league is comming to parkhead this year!!

keep it tight at the back for 20mins,gain possession then put commons out wide left and sammi up wit hooper and just go at them,changin from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2 half way through the 1st half will rattle them....Lenny has the brain power over walter now

i dont see the need to change things to much from the last game id play the same team expect id put commons further forword . i think if we go with the same team it gives us more flexability. i think rangers will go 4-1-4-1 with that young defender from arsenal sitting infront of their back 4.so we need to be able to counter their system we dont want to get over run in the midfield. we need to keep it tight for the first 10 to 20 mins as rangers have started every old firm game this season very well. but i wouldnt be to bothered if we set up 4-4-2 as we are playing very well in this formation. itl be interesting to see how both teams set up one things for sure id leave samaras on the bench and bring him on later on in the game. ibrox apart he hasnt played well enough this season to merit putting stokes, commons or anyone that played against united last sunday out of the team.

 

I would also like to add Samaras was looking dangerous when he came on at ibrox last time. Unfairly ruled offside and a ridiculous mcgregor save stopped him from scoring the winner. Will defo be involved in the game at some point.

 

Just realised this will be my first home game for a while now too, missed the Hearts home game so not been in my seat for a good bit, can not wait now!!!

I still don't know what formtion i would choose, but hoping tonight they take a few bumps and scratches against Lisbon.

 

Looking forward to this one,not getting cocky though cause even considering our run of form itll still be a tough game. Dont see why we should change our 442 formation especially considering we're at home.

I can see samaras sitting just behind hooper in this match... Could be wrong though.
