It was stupidity from Wilson because he knows a booking will be given..

He was making straight for the fans , Brown didn't encourage him or force him over , Brown went over with him though but only Wilson went furthur and made contact with the fans and that's why only he got booked I reckon.. I think he should have been off for the challenge later on , but I also felt the ref let Utd off with some decisions..

Refs should get marked down for not applying the rules.. Deliberate handball is another one that players get away with against us often enough.. Buaben today , Lasley at Celtic Park , and I remeber Novo aiming a hand at the ball and connecting as if he was trying to score yet none of these got yellow cards..

The last hun that celebrated with the crowd was Wiess I think and he got booked against Motherwell.. The officials tend to be in the right place to stop huns going over the boards most of the time..

Don't exactly remember which games, but I've seen the Huns running into the crowd after they scored & they never get booked (Has happened quiet a few times) !!!!!:38:
Could someone, explain this to me or the SFA rule of 'Getting booked for running into the crowd' is only for Celtic players, maybe it's just me, must have misunderstood the rule !!??!!

    Hail Hail:shamrock:

If i scored for Celtic i'd dive into the crowed regardless of the stupid rule,

Football without the fans is nothing, wish the people who decide the rules (and fooking prices) would remember this

It's such a stupid rule. Why does the goal scorer get booked when sometimes he's pushed by other players into the crowd? Why do the other players who are sometimes way more in amongst the crowd not get booked?

It's one of the worst and most inconsistently applied rules in football.

its a stupid rule, i think wilson stayed on the park because the ref knew his first yellow was a joke but the ref would get into trouble if he done nothing

I thought the tackle Wilson made in the second half was a definite yellow. But the yellow for the celebration was a joke. He was more or less pushed over the advertising board by Brown and did not jump into the crowd. He maybe touched a couple of hands that were leaning over as he ran along once he got back his balance.
To give the ref his due I think he used common sense. The yellow was bs and he knew it so he kind of gave him a free one on the tackle.

Had a wee chuckle with the way you worded that Nick. Sounds like he jumped into the crowd to celebrate his booking :icon_mrgreen:

It is a stupid rule. Like Samaras getting booked for his goal in the Old Firm game a few weeks back. In that sort of game passion is obviously going to run high so the feeling of scoring in what is such a huge game for the fans must provoke that reaction. A booking just seems harsh. The stewards are there to make sure security is still paramount so I don't really know why it is a booking.

Its like the whole removing of shirts booking - totally ridiculous!

    Ridiculous rule the world over.

The powers that be are removing the passion piece by piece.
