That first half performance was something else, we could have been 5 or 6 up we were that good. Was always going to be hard to replicate that in the second half but we were solid enough, Tannadice isn't the easiest of grounds to go too so in that aspect it's a very pleasing win and one which keeps the confidence and momentum flowing ahead of the derby.

very pleased will today, not going to single anybody out for criticism as today was a great team display.

forster played well too, still not a big fan though.

Great three points on a difficult surface. Thought Mulgrew was MOTM.

Sets us up nicely for next week. I hope the huns are able to field their strongest team so we can deliver a huge psychological blow!!:shamrock:

Another excellent performance from front to back today. Incredible how guys like Mulgrew and Wilson have become key figures in our team in recent weeks after so much stick at the start of the season.

What can you say about Kayal? I just hope the vultures don't start circling soon, we really have unearthed a gem here.

Poor Gary Hooper, hehe, chin up son, just one of those days. :50:

This is gonna be a long week for me, awaiting the old firm match, And hopefully the following week an even longer week for my workmates (all staunch bluenoses apart from 1), leave the team the way it is, they're playing better each week, Get McCourt on for a bit before full time

glad of the points but brown header, shocking also slack passing ki ok the park was not the best , also this game is what to expect from rangers, they will use the same tactics as every team we play are using they buy pass the mid Field then release a angled ball for there attackers to get in after, we fall for it all the time as our midfield don't run back in to protect the goal, as big Maj and co come out to meet the attackers, time and time again they play over brown and Ki or who ever is there, the ball gets to the 25 yard line Maj comes out as there are no midfield there. they then slip the ball by, as he come out just enough away from the keeper and they race on in to the box. now when this is happening brown and co are idle and should be racing in to take up positions on each post or there abouts, but no our guys, we get killed stone dead with it, and rangers can play that all day its only a matter of time and they have the ball in the back of the net. glad of the win need to do more homework me thinks

you know what i'll eat humble pie. in previous threads ive blasted Forster a little but he is honestly a proper solid keeper. does everything right.. feel stupid contradicting myself but he catches just about everything, good shot stopper too. i think all the things he is missing will come to him cause he's only a young man.. not put a step wrong hope we can tie him up to a longer deal.

Forster - 7 - Couple decent saves on a terrible pitch.

Wilson- 7.5 - Solid as ever and scored. Lucky to be on later.

Mulgrew - 6 - Defensively sound, but poor distrobution.

Majstorovic - 6 - Would have been lower if he didnt score. Stupid passes

Izzy - 6.5 - Always beat his man then put in a * poor ball. Better than this.

Brown - 7 - Powerful and good assist. Slipped everywhere.

Kayal - 7.5 - Had better games, but still good. Would have been higher if not for stupid booking.

Ledley - 8.5 - Excelent. Box to box, linking up play, great passing. Petrov - esque. MOTM

Commons - 6 - Struggled on pitch, however a wicked delivery and always a threat.

Hooper - 7 - Everything but score. Extra marks for fall.

Stokes - 7.5 - Very good. Linkined up well and scored

happy with the win at a stadium that is always tough to go to

i thought hooper deserved a goal. also glad to see us going on to win after the pressure exerted by united after their goal. that wouldn't have been the case a year or so ago imo
