McGeady v Maloney

If one was to go witch would you rather see go??

 

mcgeady because we could get a reasonable transfer fee

maloney if one had to go Mcgeady is outstanding his tricks are awesome Maloney is staling with signing on after we looked after him when he was injured Mcgeady all the way

where do you play them both ?

 

..squad rotation... quality in depth... thats part and parcel of playing for the glasgow celtic.....

both to stay.. the stronger the squad.. to lose any player of ilk only weakens the squad therefore ya need to go out and sign others... especially as these 2 lads are so young with potentiall a plenty... both to stay no question.

 

McGeady to go as imo i like Maloney better

 

If one had to go, Maloney.

 

I would hope we can keep both. They are both top quality players and you need competition for places as well as cover.
To be honest though I think Maloney may be the better overall player. Having said that Maloney has been very mediocre this season and has shown very little respect for Celtic who stood by him when he was out for such a long time. On current form I would go with McGeady. Also you get the feeling as a genuine out and out Celtic supporter McGeady is the type who might stay at Celtic long term.

mcgeady had the chance at man u as a youngster and chose us, he is younger, more skillful than maloney and could become a very great player, saying that maloney has a lot of qaulities as well luv both a them and hope they both stay because theyll both be stalwarts for years to come after the likes of nakamura, lennon and gravesen are off

 

Sorry to be negative here but ...they are both Celtic players and IMO both have a role to play at the Club . We shouldnt be asking which one we would keep !!...As far as i now no-one is going anywhere

 

well said can anybody remember them in the reserves together btw, there both qaulity and play well together

 

Maloney to go. He's about 4 years older so is unlikely to improve much further. If he's stalling because he wants more money that's fine, players have to do the best for themselves, but if he's stalling to get a move to newcastle then * him, let him go. Its a shame as he's a great wee player.

Isn't it great though that finally we have a team that has good players complaining, not because we are * but because they cant get in the team?

 

id want them both to stay but if i had to choose id say get rid of mcgeady and keep maloney.... hes more effective imo, more direct

mcgeadys a great player as well though but i just think maloney provides more goals and assists.

 

mcgeadys doing it at a younger age, and seems to be more of a tim than shauny bhoy, really cant make up my mind on this one, mcgeady i think has more potential than shaun, but shaun has the potential to be a top player as well... both a them for us for years to come is what a want its no a fight between them there teamates and have been for years

 

If one had to go, i'd pick Mcgeady to go. He has his brilliance but he hasnt been great this season, and he trys to take everyone on then loses the ball

 

He's been our best player this season. He's grown as a player. Have you seen him?
