Ki

Its so funny how many were saying how kayal didnt do so well today and was giving away some slack balls yet the same people praising kayal then slate Ki for doing the same thing kayal was doing by giving away a slack pass. Bias are you not?

The same people who say Ledley is quiet but essential for the team and then Ki doing the things that keep a team ticking with ball retention and vision and yet the same people praising Ledley for this slate Ki for this. Bias are you not?

Some people on here are hard to please if many people think Ki had a good game and were able to see his influence then we have people who say he was dire. I think ill agree with some Metrobhoy and Kingzander on Ki's performance today good but nothing exceptional yet can you say that kayal was exceptional today? No he wasn't but will he get slated for it... no. Get a grip some of you.

 

i think he is spot on !!how can wee break up the best strike partnership to accomadate ki and how can carey get on the bench before paddy and juarez.this could have backed fired big time...lucky lenny.

 

am no saying hes a bad player and i agree totally he is a good player,what about every day when ledleys get ripped after every game for keeping the midfield balanced but when ki comes in and doesnt do much hes a * ghod get off it man,hes a good player but wasnt outstanding

 

I like Ki and no doubt he is a good player, but our form really improved when he went to the Asian Cup and heres why.

He likes to drop off for the ball and pick it and slow things down, ball goes to Ki, goes wide, goes back to Ki. All slow and deliberate. This has caused us problems in recent games he played in - United, Inverness etc at home, when teams sussed they could close us down and put us under pressure. When Kayal came in, along with Brown/ Ledley our pace of game picked up. We played it early, played it more direct and teams couldnt close us down as easy. He is also a little lightweight I think as well. I would rather have Kayal and Ledley in tbh.

Saying that , he did his part today.

 

Ki was his usual, reliable self, although, his position is deep. He could perhaps be placed further forward, so more long-range shots can come from him. But that's a matter of tactics.

 

He wasn't at his best today.

 

Ki was spraying passes to left to right, I thought he was good. I feel comfortable when he's on the ball.

 

Ki was good today along with the rest of the team , and every decision made by lenny was the right one

 

really thought Ki had a good game, nothing spectacular, but he was always available for the ball and one of the reasons we had so much possession, very intelligent player in my opinion. the fact he has developed so well over the past year really excites me looking forward. but on saying that, I feel so many of our players have developed immensely under lennon, especially mentally, after the beginning of the season I would have feared the worst after conceding a couple of goals, like utrecht or the first game vs. the manky mob, but totally different story now!
