Think solid's the best way to describe him. If he can address the kicking issue he'll be totally fine. Can't see him ever being as breath taking as Artur but on the other hand (and I hope to * this doesn't come back to bite me in the *)I can't see him making as many mistakes either.

I think a lot of people on here overrate him. I think the clean sheets speak more of the defence and how they've coped with attacking threats because, imo, the keeper's rotten. I know someone said he will get better as he gets older but time is a luxury we can't afford atm

I like the big chap and i also agree that his kicking needs some work but to step in after boruc is a big ask especially for a loan from newcastle`s 3rd team, this season will be a big learning curve for him and i hope we sign him up permanent from the toon, really good prospect

Another clean sheet from the big man today, hardly surprising.

Brilliant from the big man today.

Another clean sheet from Fraser today, and his second shut out against Rangers. We need to get Forster nailed down on a permanent contract. I would pay up to £3M for him myself, if I could afford it :56:

Forster is a bit different from the last 2 keepers we've had (zally and boruc) in that he relies on size more than agility.

He is not capable of some of the fantastic leaping stops that boruc may have pulled off, but he does other things better than boruc. For instance, he is naturally more commanding on set pieces (though he can improve still)

I Think as celtic fans we expect because boruc was a box office name we think forster 3rd choice newcastle keeper the big man needed someone to give him a break and lenny did he is playing as part of a defence which has the best defensive record in scotland i think only man utd have a better defensive record we dont need box office names boruc left big shoes to fill no doubt but after today the big man showed you dont have to be a star to shine I.J.C.G.E.

Really thought Forster was very composed today. He worries me a bit with his kicking etc when he is under pressure. But I think both Mulgrew and Majstorovic did so well to protect him today and when he was called into action he did a good job. Well done Fraser.

He was decisive today. The system and communication worked- defenders shield the ball- but don't play it as the keeper is coming to collect it

Good performance today by the big man, but too inconsistent and never feel safe when the balls played back to him. We should be looking for a new keeper in summer 100%.

There was a cross in the first half where he could have went for instead of backing off to his line. Other than that, I can't complain

I think he is a stop-gap for us, that's all.

He's done ok but the modern day 'keeper needs to be comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Forster doesn't fill me with a great deal of confidence, and I think we'll be on the lookout for a new no. 1 in the summer.
