    we have known from the 1st of january we need a CB. so what gets done?? we sign one for next year then think if we hold off until the last day then offer money for him we will get him?? i feel we have been let down again by penny pinching at parkhead!!

    Diouf is decent tbh, and wer going to line up Mulgrew and Wilson at CB to counter him... My optimism has turned sour.

    fair enough a centre back was our priority but lets be honest here mulgrew and wilson have done a decent job for us so far in the middle when called upon, rogne is playing some stuff and mastarovic has a big presence in the team. Look at it from the point of view of who could we have signed for a respectable fee and wages who would want to come to the spl and also would be better than what we currently have. Their arent very many, and to be honest cant blame the board or lenny for trying to get in the forest lad on the cheap, its how transfers work. But as someone els pointed out their are few hours left. If being honest our number one priority is a long term goalkeeper!! Forester is back to newcastle at end of season!!

    look at the facts, we have the best defence in the league,there is no disputing that
    with the players that we have.

    we are always one injury away from a crisis,as it happens 2 CD injured in the space of a few weeks.Loovens is poor,Hooiveld sent on loan,big maj suspect at times

    we have been expecting the back line to be strenghend, BANG we have Freddie
    and Kris Commons come in and join us, :rolleyes:
