read this on celtic web site. nobody find it strange the team trained at barrowfield today? whats that all about?

Which google translates as:
No more could go the CELTIC is above everything and my total commitment to the team !!!!!!

I personally would have liked to see him loaned out to another team in the spl he has great potential and is very young but I think he still has to get used to the physical side of our game

 

Good to see! and hopefully he gets his chance and takes it, looked promising at the start of the season.

Remember he had a huge bust up with his national team and was all over the headlines.

Maybe Lenny was punishing him and saying, along the lines of -

"You play for Celtic now, and Celtic players do not act in this manner, therefore your punishment is nae fitbaw pedro"

i dont know if its a fallout or adapting to Scotland, but remember Stan Petrov had to do the same for a season or 2 and look how he panned out

Kinda felt maybe he had some carry on in his head being of a different culture and being quite young... Perhaps lenny has spent the last few months maturing him if ye like...

Who knows? It's all speculative. The fact he isn't going and posted the above tweet suggests he's just been adjusting to this lifestyle and being part of a high pressure club... Dunno but glad he's staying because I think he'll do the damage soon and tbh I want to enjoy him while we can still afford to keep him.

 

I'd put Juarez out there if he was hammered drunk and on crutches ahead of Brown.

Think Juarez will come good for Celtic given time. Some players need to adapt. Coming from the sunshine of Mexico to the wet and cold Scotland is not easy.
Just look at Ki, many wanted him gone in the summer, but he was probably one of our best players this season so far.

Ki, Kayal, Izzaguire and Hooper are currently our best and key players at the moment. I am sure given time Juarez can join this elite list.

 

On the turn side of that, the amount of people that claim he should be playing week in week out is laughable! The guy has done very little in a Celtic Shirt to merit getting into a team that has been playing well and i include Brown in that! I'm not saying he is a bad player but he surely has to wait his turn tiger into a winning team?

 

How exactly is he more deserving than brown?

 

Have to agree. It's a bit like the Paddy McCourt situation, fans went on and on about him playing everyweek and when it has happened he has been nothing short of garbage. Players have to merit a chance and when they get their chance they have to take it.

 

Juarez to make a difference in the tital run-in when the Scottish conditions have changed!

 

Juarez' main asset is his stamina and energy, much like brown and may very well still be in the side had that stuff not happened with Mexico and Brown not been the captain, the fact is brown and the team have been playing well so juarez' chances have been limited, but he will still have a big part to play this season with so many big games coming up and should hopefully be an able replacement should brown be sold for big bucks in the summer.

 

To me, everyone needs at least one season.. these players we have will only get better. Remember Hinkel? Joined in January, was complete mince, but kicked on the next season.

People are seeing the likes of Kayal walk in and almost cement a place in the squad so expect everyone else to do that. We've got a lot of young talented players who will get better, it's been another season of rebuilding under Lennon and I'll expect the best to appear in pre-season for next year.

We've already had glimpses of what this team can possibly do and to me, it's more exciting than the road we were going down under Strachan/Mowbray.

 

I wouldn't call Juarez staying good news. He's been terrible so far. Lennon's poorest signing in terms of what we paid for the guy.
