Personally i think the no. 7 shirt should be unofficially retired. and only given to someone that has proved there worth to CFC. eg being the key player in winning a couple of titles. Giving it to loanies and bit part players is disrespectful.

Granted mate he was a world class player but just not for us!
now whether or not that was oneils tactical system i dunno.
yeah he liked a giant but he knew what he was signing and
adjusted accordingly for juninho to play sometimes even a class player just dosent fit in

The rest of the squad will absorb a lot off him by him just being there. In terms of movement and positioning there have been few attacking midfielders in Europe as good as Ljungberg.

His calibre is MLS & flopping at West Ham, he's a long way from being an Arsenal Invincible.

    His talent is behind:

    Commons
    Brown
    McCourt
    Forrest

Who are all playing in front of him - even McGinn is getting more game time than him.

Aye, he's a legend - so can we go for Cantona as well then?

He's not for free, he's taking thousands in wages...we could've signed Wilson or Hunskelper, if we hadn't wasted money on him.

He'll be no more than a bit part player for us, makes no sense to me.

Don't give a * who he is, James Forrest blows him away.

Scott Brown is more talented than Freddie Ljungberg.

I have genuinely heard it all now.

forrest is a great wee player of course he is! freddie is 34 now remember who had injuray problems at west ham! that more or less why he moved to the states for a bit to get back fit and healthy.its like juarez also! he aint playing just now for the sam reason freddie isnt. the mid are playing well and therefore he will need to bide his time just like freddie. and he wont be on mega dosh anyway so chill out. it wouldnt shock me if glenda was on more?

and yer having a laugh if you think brown is a better player.

maybe being 34 he's taking a bit longer to get to fitness and Lennon is giving him time to nurse him along, was only thinking earlier today i wouldnt be suprised to see him start on tuesday night in a bid by Lennon to keep the team fresh.

Brown's on the wing, or in central mid.

Freddie is on the bench, an unused sub.

    Go figure.

One of Lenny's biggest let downs for me, is his pursuit of hasbeen big name players:

    Sol Campbell
    David James
    Freddie Lungberg
    Jimmy Bullard - Very baffling.

I can't see him making an impact past our very strong, young & dynamic midfield & his game time so far proves that....waste of time, money & number 7 shirt. :50:
