no comparison.....last season we were a rudderless ship heading for the rocks which we ultimately beached upon against ross county at hampden.

this season we have a desire and purpose filtering down from the manager infecting his squad of players who seem to want to play for a man who is so steeped in celtic he probably has emerald coloured blood and a four leaf clover for a heart.

    there is no comparison.

Boruc isn't playing right now. I'm sure he's getting tired of that. Either that or he's just enjoying getting a fat pay in Italy sitting in bars having a few and smoking cigarettes and hitting up the Italian burds. I dont know. He might come back someday. Who knows.

When you actually look at the teams together, they one doesn't actually look all that much better than the other. It was how the first one played, both as a team and as individuals, which makes this seasons so much better. For example, McGeady was a top quality player, the best winger we've had in recent years IMO, but we didn't see nearly enough of that last year. Also, it was in key positions that we were lacking. We lost a lot of midfield battles last year because we had N'Guemo pulling the strings. This year we have Kayal. After losing the midfield battles, we then had 2 shaky centre backs, compared to the solid ones we have now.

Everyone is wiring on about Boruc but he was not great last season either!! To kamikaze sometimes for me although he is still a hero cause the hate him with a passion! Plus Forester hasn't done much wrong, would be more than delighted if Celtic made this loan permanent. Comands the defence, plucks balls out the air and is a good stopper. How much would Forester cost? McGeady and Keane are the only 2 I'd keep but happy they moved on or we might not have some of the players we have now!

our team now has a much better overall attitude and approach to games, and are far hungrier. the individual personalities are a lot stronger and eager to win, and in terms of performance on the pitch, we now have far more quality, determination and bite.

Boruc, Hinkel and McGeady. Im, praying Hinkel stays because he was amazing for us last season. If we have him and Emilio at wing back and then another solid CB it could be a defence fit for europe.

Out of the loan signings I would of kept obv Keane but Kamara. I had a soft spot for him and thought he done very well for us. He seems to be doing well enough for Fulham atm

Just shows you have to trust the club sometimes and be prepared for change, even it means selling McGeady. I think a lot of people cling to Boruc, but i'm not bothered too much. Could have took him or left him when the bid came in. Problem is people don't seem convinced about a permanent replacement.
