So im trying to get some tickets to the Kilmarnock match on 2 jan. But im not clear on how the rows and stuff are assigned. I saw that i could get section 138 (big jock stand) row SS. How are the rows set up is it AA-ZZ like going upward or what? Im commin from the states specifially for this so i dont want to have a * seat. any tips would be much appreciated

    Row A is the front

So it's A to Z then AA to ZZ

Row SS will be quite far back, sounds like a decent seat mate:50:

Usually the seats a bit far up are the better ones as you can see the whole pitch.

    Jock Stein upper view

I sit in the Jock stein upper in row BB so the view is great, you can see the whole pitch and have a lot of atmosphere. The back wall is only a few rows up so you get a good sound from the guys banging off the plastic making the drumming noise.

i think if your too low down you only get legs and dont always xsee where the ball is. personal preference i suppose though.

Anywhere in Parkhead is a good seat !!

I sit in the North Stand Stand row B so my advice would be dont sit too close to the front because you can't see the full park, row SS sounds good mate

brilliant thanks guys, I know this match is gonna mean * all in terms of the SPL, but it's my pilgrimage, so you'd think I was going to see and old firm on the last day of the season with a level table.

The date chage really * me we had plane tickets to london on the 2nd that's non-refundable so now i gotta take that in the * and pay for a train and aother hotel, but what can i do come all the way from chicago and miss the match by 12 hours get to *. :ynwacelti

I would agree with the comments above, I have sat in both the bottom half and top half of the stadium and the higher you are the better views you have, but like seetheway said, there is not really a bad seat in Celtic Park.

ps would it not be easier for you and cheaper too to fly straight from Chicago to Glasgow on American Airlines rather than flying to London first and then getting a train up to Glasgow?

Thats good to know that there are no bad seats.

It was about the same for me to get the tickets to Glsagow from London they boooking a flight straight to Glasgow, plus they all had huge layovers in manchester. Me and the lady are going over our holiday break from university so were making an extended vaction out of it.
