with current defense we could go out of 2 cups and drop 6 points so weigh up the cost of not winning the league and ask if its worth 600,000. its a nightmare scenario but one that needs addressed. and thats if dan returns to schedule. whats to say he doesnt break down on his recovery and is out for 8 weeks. then with no window to remedy it.

 

Im in total agreement.. We're not long after drawing 1-1 with Hamilton so there's a reminder if needed just what can happen on any given day against any team in the SPL..
Whenever we get a bad game changing decision from an official we have some of our support saying it doesn't matter about the decision because we should be much better than the opposition regardless , yet we have the chance to strengthen and put daylight between us and the competition yet we seem to be dawdling along through this transfer window with little progress.. Ljunberg isn't going to win us the title , he may add some composure during games when things are frantic , but like many other people I don't trust our defence to shut up shop and Im not convinced we have enough firepower in reserve to get a goal when we are in desperate need of one..

For me this SPL season is massive.. It's more than just bringing the title home and stopping them from getting 3 in a row..
Giving Lenny the full backing in what is a rookie season against the media's sir wily old fox is a must.. It would be monumental to send the old senile * packing from the zoo with nothing more than a whimper and some * kissing from chick young etc..

 

I am pretty sure that Lenny is trying to get someone in, but it is very short notice to get someone that we could rely on to play tomorrow night. He may think it is more worthwhile to go with what we have. Play Mark Wilson in beside Rogne, which wouldnt be too bad an option, provided that Juarez can fit in at rb. Misun isnt good enough to go in at CB and neither is Mulgrew. Hopefully Ki and Cha will be back very soon and this will boost things as well.

Why!!??? Every f***ing season, we need a couple of players to bury the huns. See if we lose the league cos the board didn't pay out I will be raging!

 

Surely getting Ki and Cha back would be like two new signings, just like Jellyfish returning to the Huns setup is like a new signing to them.

 

One quality CB on loan until the end of the season is all we REALLY need. A first team striker would be a bonus.

we invested enough in summer yes we do need cb but im sure wilson and mulgrew are professional enough to cover a cb for a few games

We are wafer thin in quality at CH and CF. We could well end up in trouble if we do not have exceptional luck with injuries in these positions. Makes you wonder why they let Jos go. They must think Loovens is enough cover. TBH there is a lot of hysteria about Loovens. All our CHs have looked terrible with the Ki-Ledley combo in front of them. You might be pleasantly surprised at how more safe he might look with Kayal and Broony protecting the CM.
