if you mean just the fans then no its not that would just reflect badly on the team because the press would make out it is because of results and it would also have a negative affect on the team that no one is there to support them. the only way to tackle this is as a club and that means fans players and staff of the club all coming together in some way if it means leaving the league then so be it but just boycotting games wont make 1 bit of difference

we didn't even get 60,000 for the CL qualifiers at the start of the season :p

but i'd still jump at the chance of gettin onto any rung of the english football ladder...a foreign investor would jump at the chance of a team at the lower ends of the english leagues with a training facility like ours and a 60,000 seater stadium..it would be a harder 10 years or so but it would be worth it in the ling run

What about the Irish league, I'm sure they'd take us, we'd fill stadiums, it's no worse really than the SPL and we wouldn't be treated like unwanted guests.

Or what about buying a Conference team? Then just relocating it, change the name, strip etc?

I think we'd have a far better chance at getting in down south without the Huns, we don't come with the same reputation, and it's only one competitor rather than two to worry about.

    We shouldn't resign.

But the next time that it is as blatant as it was tonight or at Tynecastle and Tannadice we should stage a walk off for that game, to get the worlds attention to it and put the SFA * under pressure. As I believe that would attract the attention of UEFA/FIFA and questions would be raised.

I don't see us being invited to the big party down south anytime soon, they simply don't need us, at this moment in time we have to play with the hand we've been dealt.

:50: That was my point also. It's a Catch-22... Celtic needs Scottish Football as much as Scottish Football needs Celtic ATM.

English dont want us. Wait till they need us which will hopefully be soon. Then we can grow into the massive club we deserve to be

I understand you saying we should be beating then by 2 or 3 but it's getting to the stage where if we have an off day we can't sneak a 1 nil like most champions do over a course of the season due to interference from cheating refs.how he got that decision wrong when the WHITE 6 yard line was separating them

Taking the match from last night out of the equation and even all the dodgy decisions over the years, it's obvious that we need to leave the league.

The attendences are dropping badly, everyones fed up of playing motherwell etc up to 6 times a year and we're basically watching the celtic we know die a slow death up here.

I remember 12 or so years ago Wimbledon were talking about relocating to Ireland whilst still staying an English League team. If thats the case I wonder if we could buy some team from the lower leagues of England and relocate them to Glasgow and call them Celtic. As someone else mentioned we could even stay in the Scottish League until this team gets in the Championship or whatever. I honestly think the attendances would be as high if we were in the that league as they are now. I would be just as happy to play lower league teams for 5 years or so as watch the same thing over and over again.

We might even be lucky if football finances continue as they have and we could buy a Portsmouth or someone. I don't see how the English league could prevent it if we're not pushing another team out the league.

Whatever, we need to realise that this club of ours is at a critical point in it's history and hopefully Lawell and Desmond can sort this out one way or another.

I wouldn't have said so 10 yrs ago but the sheer brazen bias, falling attendances and standards make me now inclined to say yes we should leave.

But it's mainly the confrontational institutional bias and 'scream and love it *, we'r gonna keep pumping yo' * full of our hot orange jelly' attitude from the SFA, refs and press that do it for me.

    * scandal that would never be tolerated anywhere in this world.

Like already mentioned we ain't interesting enough for the EPL at the moment. It will look completely different once they get rattled with money problems and lose a few clubs because of bankruptcy.

a money crisis down south will be the ticket to the EPL.

However it's top priority that we get out of that slump of corruption and cheating. enough is enough.

I also would like a Celtic League with teams from Ireland and Scotland. After all, we might not be the only ones that are fed up with the orange order aka SFA. Irish teams, some scottish teams and also some friends from the occupied country (Derry FC for example).

I totally agree with this mate.......

As soon as the Billionare owners ala Sheiks, Russians, Pompous Americans, Indian egg farmers etc...leave their subsequent clubs with debts as long as their wage bills.....the EPL is gonna crumble BIG TIME!!!!

If that ever happens then I believe they will be begging us to join them!
