What would be the point in letting Paddy go? Hes the most talented winger in the league, dribbling is second to none, has a good final ball and a decent eye for goal aswell. Definitely worth having around imo even if he is coming off the bench and a much better player than McGinn.

hope this isn't true...he's the most exciting player we've got by far! didn't do much in the hamilton game cos they doubled up on him, but even then some of his through balls were fantastic...i'm a proud member of paddy mccourt's * army!

There are some complete idiots here who think he should go for 1.2 million. He's in our top 3 best players and has been our most important player for the last 3 or 4 weeks. No one was saying this after the Motherwell game or the hun game. But now that he hasn't skilled everybody and scored a wonder-goal in a game where he had 3 men doubled up on him at all times, kicking him up the park and hacking him to bits, he's not good enough?

If you think he's worth that you don't know anything about football, and you can't appreciate any of his talents aside from wonder-goals, like his vision and passing. I didn't see anyone else playing like Paddy at his best against Hamilton, or even playing better than Paddy on the night.

Get a grip.

Eh? What did he do in the Huns game? Apart from still running after 90 mins (that's a common attribute of a pro footballer), imo he's been non existsant in our last 3 games against Rangers, Berwick and Hamilton the other night, can't see how he's been out most important player in these games!
