Worth The Admission fee

Just replied to the paddy mccourt thread - for me he's worth the admission fee....obviously Henrik/Lubo was, that goes without saying but wondering who could be genuinely said to be worth the admission fee now..or in v recent past? For me when Scott Brown arrived with the lung bursting runs I was saying this. Suppose I'm thinking of that something extra..like some of Boruc's saves.

In recent seasons I think Aiden McGeady and Shunsuke Nakamura were the only saving graces of Strachans team. WGS first season though Wee Shaun Maloney was worth the admission fee on his own.

The bhoy was on fire.

 

Paddy McCourt's the man to watch now but Lubo and Naka were terrific footballers while at Celtic.

 

In my oppinion there have been very few players I would say recently that were worth the admission alone.
In my time possibly Paddy yes, other than that I can only honestly say Lubo and Paulo Di Canio.
The modern game doesn't allow for many of these talents unfortunetly.

 

Paddy I'd say is worth it he's a great player but naka was a great player just knowing there's a really really good chance he was going to score a great free kick or screamer was worth it for me

 

hooper is turning into that sort of player as well. can't wait for him to return

 

The topic isn't only Paddy.. it is asking who others think are worthy

 

agreed, too bad he seems very injury prone

 

Artur Boruc, he was worth the admission fee on his own.

Great keeper and a larger than life character. It was great to watch him pulling off stunning saves but also wondering if he was going to do something funny at any given moment.

 

paddy has been the most improved player this season imo Its great to have a player like him on your team , hes an entertainer :icon_mrgreen:

 

Naka.

Take it for granted that any time we got a free kick 30 yards or less out we would get a goal. ( More or less )

 

out of the current team every player is woth the admission fee cos £28 is not alot of money for a player:icon_mrgreen:
