Wouldn't mind Berra to be honest. He is better than Ambrose, much better, and would be a good partner to Wilson or Gershon.

Berra knows the SPL, and is strong and commanding in the air, something we have been lacking since Stephen McManus departed.

Berra is not a better footballer than Ambrose.

Carlton Cole to leave West Ham

Cole had announced he's going to leave west ham in the summer what do you think about him coming to the hoops? No transfer fee aslong as his wages wernt unrealistic I think he would be a decent signing poor season last season but apart from that pretty consistent performer

Don't know if we would be able to afford his wages or if the Spl is a big allure for him. But you never know, if he wants a new challenge and maybe a shot at the Champions League etc he might just drop his wages and come.

Always liked him but he never really got going this year for some reason.

But nonetheless I think it would be worth a punt at the right wages.

I would too, no doubt he is good enough, just worried about a lack of football.

Garry Kenneth is the exact same, but it doesn't hide the fact that he is utter dross of the highest order, as is Berra.

Berra would be nowhere near my first choicr but I do think he would make a good partner for Wilson.

So much on twitter about Carlton Cole joining us. All twitter gossip though. I think it might happen.

We have been linked with him a couple of times before, so it was inevitable. I'd take him too.

I'd take Carlton Cole for the same reason I'd take Doyle.

Why would you take Doyle? I think Doyle is pish, I used to really like him.

Different option, very experienced, probably quite cheap due to being pish recently, still a half decent age.

I'd rather Doyle over Cole but wouldn't argue.

I think Cole is better than Doyle, but Doyle would probably want to play for us more and be successful which might mean he is the better option. Think I'd rather Cole though.

I think Doyle has more big game experience, that's the reason I wanted him.

Both are only 29 though, good few years left. I'd go for it.

I think Carlton Cole would be a good signing. Hardly a world beater but he is a great option to have. I think he would get a few goals up here but it's his all round play that impresses me.
