Why I think we wont beat Rangers

Fuxsakes, since December the 4th, Hartson has scored ONE Spl goal for us against.....Livingston.

What have we done? We've been top of the league for most of the season until last Saturday. (We've been off the top for 3 days and its all doom and gloom).. We have a game in hand which should see us return to the top. We've done a * of a lot better in Europe than the Huns this season with 2 great results against 2 of the best teams in Europe. The Huns got knocked out of the CL by CSKA Moscow! And knocked out of the UEFA by Graz! Bellamy is with us for 3 months and im confident he'll have an amazing impact on the spl.

Ask most Huns which position they'd prefer to be in and im sure most will say ours.

An ageing team? With the likes of Kennedy, Marshall, McGeady, Maloney, Beattie, Wallace, Pearson, Quinn etc coming through our future looks pretty good i'd say.

ps And John Hartson scored two and hit the bar with another effort in his last game so I reckon he is a better striker than you think! As for Bellamy: he'll run rings round the Rangers rearguard.

 

They are top of the league by default: our game was postponed, otherwise we would still be three points ahead of them at the top. The Huns are going to have a very short stay at the top of the league. And for all the bashing of big John Hartson he has scored 21 goals this season! His record against Rangers is outstanding as he always seems to score against them and he scored the winner the last time we played them.

 

Are you sure you're not a Rangers fan in disguise? Doesn't the two goals John scored against Dunfermline even count? Oh, sorry, I forgot: that was in the Cup, wasn't it, not the league!

 

McGeady has been a regular all season long, Marshall had a good run in the team, Wallace has had a number of sub appearances and Pearson was a regular last season.

 

I cannot understand the whole premise of this thread at all. We all know the Huns' record at CP is absolute rubbish. The last time we played them they weren't even in the game and that wasn't long ago. And now we have Bellamy in our ranks and Henchoz. Balde has remained with us as well. And to top it all off we scored three goals in a game for the first time in ages in our last game and that was on a surface which was not at all conducive to good football. I, along with several others on this thread, am really disappointed with the negative remarks leading up to an Old Firm game. With the attack we now have with big John firing again, Chris his usual dependable self and now Bellamy about to light up the SPL like a blowtorch I think things are looking good for the Celts.
