why was so much money spent on juarez when he doesnt get on

If weather wasn't such a factor then why is Bolivia playing La Paz or Mexico playing in Mexico City such a big deal then?

 

I think that there has been an incident behind the scenes that we are not aware of. I mean this is a freezing out nearly on par with big Balde.

 

What Im saying is its a bit of a change when youve spent your whole life playing in a warm climate and then coming to scotland. And a spat where he received alot of stick from his home media and no doubt his family will have suffered to an extent is bound to have an affect on focus! but youre probably right, in the whole 8 games hes appeared in hes been a total flop, and we may as well get shot of him all im saying is lets give the guy a chance before saying hes gonna be a "flop".

 

Well he was bought to go into the team straight away. He did. So the real question is what has happened for him not to be in the side.

 

I wasnt the 1 who called him a flop mate that was some1 a couple of posts before me, i was the 1 asking why he was signed and not given a proper chance when other areas of the team needed stengthened. I agree its not great what happened him but when your playing a game or training your mind is on 1 thing no matter whats gong on

we signed Kayal ... Ki got more accustomed to the league ... Brown got fit ... Ledley (who apparently played wider left quite often at Cardiff) cemented himself in the side .... Towell forced his way into first team plans .....

Just my opinion but it seems odd that after the whole Mexico debacle along with Carlos Vela, he hasn't had a look in. Not saying that is the reason for his lack of games but im only saying this as it seems the same with Vela at Arsenal since that time. From the start of the season, everyone could see his talent and that he should definitely be playing, at least regularly, if not starting. I think there is definitely something going on behind the scenes.

 

hate to mention this because its purely speculative, do you feel he has involved himself in ott party antics that could show up the club if played if u catch my drift.

 

imo him an kayal are our 2 best cm's so they should both play if fit

now i dont have a source for this myself but it was definately in this forum!!
but it is very strange how his career at CP was starting very impressively then bang he's shunned and out of the squad for almost every game!!

and even when we have injury probs (kayal/brown) suspensions and so on that he still cant get a start a proven mexican international footballer who had a good world cup and was supposedly interesting arsenal and now he cant get a game for celtic!?
wwtf is that all about?

i dont like the sensationalistic storylines as to why this one or that one isn't playing
but juarez looked a cut above everyone in pre-season and was one of the few to get close to a passmark in the short-lived euro campaign this season there has to be another reason he is totally out of the picture!

but alas we will probably never hear the truth unless someone bumps into lenny in the lismore and gets him stoatin' and is the regaled with the whole sordid story!!

 

£2 million was spent on Juarez...that is not exactly a massive deal of money for an ex-Barcelona player who had just represented his Country at the WC......

Granted he has yet to stamp his authority in the Celtic team...but other's have cemented their place in the team before him unfortunately.

If he applies himself well enough in training and shows a good attitude and willingness to get a first-team slot...i have no doubt he will.

Will probably get a chance against Berwick this weekend.

 

I'd give him a shot at RB/RM, Ki and Kayal in the centre for me.

 

There has never been any mention of cocaine in the Mexican press. If there was, it'd be everywhere.

 

Mate I'm only saying what I think will happen, hence the letters IMO. It's not as if I'm launching a scathing attack on him but I think he'll be a flop because if you ask me, Ki and Kayal are better

 

See tbh mate...when Juarez was signing for us I was at Parkhead and what I saw coming out of the car was this wee, skinny Mexican dude coming out of a car....didn't look like there was much to him...

Perhaps Lennon just doesn't feel he is strong enough for the physical side of the Scottish game?

 

I have also heard that it is not to do with his football ability. hes not getting a game as he is to fond on the glasgow night life
